There were numerous employees in the service area which was very customer friendly. There was a nice sitting area for customers waiting for service with restrooms. I told Anthony, my salesman, that everyone looked happy working there. No one was pushy and I didn’t get that car salesman vibe at all. I recommend Liberty Subaru. More

I am very disappointed with this dealership and especially with Dan Cohen (Subaru’s Manager) for not answering my calls or calling me back after several attempts! Let me start from the beginning. especially with Dan Cohen (Subaru’s Manager) for not answering my calls or calling me back after several attempts! Let me start from the beginning. This was my third Subaru purchase and my second from this dealership. My first was a purchase with this dealership, and the second was a lease, which is my current vehicle. I had leased a 2022 Accent for three years and purchased a maintenance plan. I assumed the maintenance was for the entire lease but was shocked to find out that it was only for twenty four months. My fault for not checking the fine print and their shadiness for not mentioning it as I would have changed it to be for the entire lease. It started with my brakes vibrating, which was why I brought my vehicle in for service in the first place. They said they had extended the coverage for this but never sent out a recall. Not sure why Subaru wouldn’t do a recall for vibrating brakes as that seems to be something to be of concern. It scared the crap out of me when it first happened. When I received my service report it listed my vibrating brakes as if I reported it as squeaking, but that was far from the truth. Not sure why they would lie about something like this unless they prefer not to report this issue to keep their numbers down. I paid $533 for the twenty four month coverage, which I found out was grossly overpriced. The twenty four months should have been for four services which equate to $133 each. I would expect to save money when purchasing a maintenance plan and not overpay. I only performed two services in the first twenty four months as I didn’t put that many miles on the vehicle. Thankfully they did do my oil change which was my third service call even though my maintenance expired, so I ended up paying $533 for three services which are still overpriced. They only charge $75 for an oil change and for four of them it should have only cost $300 (not $533 so I overpaid $233 for the plan). In addition, the service report showed that my engine and air conditioning filters were yellow (green for good, yellow for warning and black for bad). I called the service department and complained about this, which they said that the advisor should have told me about these filter warnings. But I assume since this was my last FREE service they chose not to (to save money since my next service will be at my expense) as I surely would have wanted them changed. I like Subaru and will most likely purchase another one down the road, but it surely won’t be from this dealership. You live and learn from your mistakes, and I surely will learn from this and hopefully others will learn from it as well. More
