I brought it there recently to get an assessment because a whining noise was coming from the rear end (transfer case). I researched the problem carefully before taking it there, and isolated the most problem to a bad wheel bearing and axel seal. Liberty Mazda confirmed that the leaking was from the transfer case right axel seal and the noise was from the right wheel bearing hub. Liberty said nothing else was wrong. However, Liberty wanted $1900 for parts and labor to replace the entire rear-end and wheel bearing. This is also the visit where I learned that many of the parts for this car are made by Ford. They charged me $165 to do the assessment. I had the transfer case seal and wheel bearing replaced at a local transmission specialist (not AAMCO), because Liberty Mazda consistently overcharges for parts and labor. After the replacing the parts that Liberty said were needed, 2 weeks later the same noise gets even louder. I take it back to the shop that did the repairs to check the noise and the repair shop says they have to replace THE DRIVESHAFT AND THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING. Liberty said NOTHING about these parts. I have consistently had problems with Mazda dealerships providing wrong estimates and then wanting to replace major parts at premium prices. Stay away from Liberty Mazda! This Mazda "expert" does not know how to assess problems with their own cars, and then give reasonable prices to fix things. My trust in dealership repair shops fell farther. This is the last Mazda I will buy. More
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!Since I have communicated with 4 WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! Since I have communicated with 4 different people through the Mazda customer-experience hotline, let me explain the full sto WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! Since I have communicated with 4 different people through the Mazda customer-experience hotline, let me explain the full story here and maybe someone will actually do something about this horrible experience that I have had. Long story short, I finally found my dream car online through Liberty Mazda's Website. On Saturday, June 13th I called Liberty Mazda and asked if the vehicle was still available and that I live out of state. I made an appointment for Monday the 15th to view the car. First thing Monday morning, I called Liberty Mazda and specifically asked what I would need to bring in order to purchase the vehicle and drive with it home THE SAME DAY. The woman over the phone told me I just needed a Driver's License with me. When purchasing my car I worked with Jonathan who seemed like he was new because he didn’t know jack xxxx. I then worked with Tom the finance guy who was absolutely AMAZING. I have nothing but great things to say about Tom, he was so helpful. However, when I was working with Tom, James, the sales manager was taking a personal phone call in the room next to us. It sounded like he was on the phone with one of his buddies about getting together to "kick someone's xxx". Note: my boyfriend and I were not the only customers in the dealership at the time. James was using inappropriate language and even Tom kept looking out and I could see on his face that he was beginning to get frustrated at the lack of professionalism from James. After signing everything and purchasing the vehicle I was told that I could not take the vehicle home since Massachusetts apparently doesn't do temporary plates and that I would need to register the vehicle and get the plates in hand before I could get my vehicle off their lot. At that time I was so confused because before I traveled those 4 hours there and purchased the car the reception lady told me I could take the vehicle the same day. Since purchasing the car I have been working with James ever since. I've probably called the dealership over 30 times and most of those calls were never answered. I have left SEVERAL messages and NOTHING! Never a callback. At this point, I was about to rip my hair out and just give up. I have been under so much stress not having a car to bring myself to work and also the fact that I have put so much time just to reach out to these people for nothing to happen yet. I have called Mazda's customer-experience hotline and complained about 4 separate occasions. All I keep hearing is "I'm sorry", I'M SO SICK OF HEARING SORRY, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS! I am a pissed off customer who just wants someone to actually do something to help me! I was also told I would get a call from the owner of Liberty Mazda. Did I ever? Of course not. SO much xxxx has been said that I forget until I remember. AND THEN they have the audacity to give me a filthy loaner during a pandemic which is absolutely absurd. I traveled an hour and a half to pick up the loaner on Friday, July 3rd. The delivery guys were 30 minutes late and the car was DISGUSTING. The console was sticky, there was dust and dirt all throughout the vehicle. I am extremely disgusted at the fact Liberty Mazda would give an already DISSATISFIED customer a trashed loaner especially during a pandemic. There are two dents on the outside of the backend vehicle. The "Courtesy of Liberty Mazda" on the back window is peeling and crooked as you can see where the line placement is. It looks like they just slapped it on last minute. Overall my experience with purchasing my new car has been HORRIBLE. I feel like nothing is being done about it and Liberty Mazda is not getting the wake-up call they need. The absolutely useless salespeople at this dealership DO NOT deserve the commission from this sale much less to continue working for the company. I expect something to be done immediately about this or they and Mazda can expect to hear from my lawyer. More

( The best in MA for sure) I have been to Mazda dealers in VA and MD and they are no comparison to Liberty. Ask for Donna in service, because she went above for me. Jeff is also excellent. I know I sound like a commercial for Liberty, everything I said was true. I filed a complaint against Winchester Mazda a Subaru. I made a scene and they were not happy. Everyone heard. The kept me waiting for 2 hours for an oil change. I filed the complaint with Mazda headquarters. However, I digress. Donna helped me when I lost my wallet and I was frantic. She is kind, compassionate and a true professional who knows her trade very well. Thank you Donna for making a horrible day wonderful. More
Would not recommend I nearly walked out when the pushy finance guy sprung additional monthly charges on me after I had already negotiated a payment amount. It turns out I I nearly walked out when the pushy finance guy sprung additional monthly charges on me after I had already negotiated a payment amount. It turns out I should have because the dealership didn't make my first lease payment out of my down payment like the contract said they would and now I'm being chased for late fees on it. On top of that I *still* haven't received any information on when my payments are due or how to make them from Mazda or Chase and it's been 2 1/2 months since I signed the lease. More
