Liberty Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Service Center

This was my second time visiting this dealership. Setting an appointment was easy and we dropped off our vehicle the night before the visit. The tech sent a video showing a couple of the main items that they would normally inspect. We went in with a few complaints that they could not duplicate. It's the second time we've complained about them, but they do not seem to be able to identify the problems. I spoke with my service advisor, Tony, and he offered other services to me that I denied, and his tone changed quickly. He went on about how much time the tech had into diagnosis, and he was not going to charge me for that - just the oil change. The oil change went from an 89.95 "special coupon" to $159.95!!! I questioned him about that and he said "well, we didn't charge you for the diagnosis". It was as if I was supposed to grant them an extra money for issues he told me he wasn't charging me for. My vehicle is a Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 and it uses conventional 5W20 motor oil - but I did not get offered conventional oil - they only have synthetic! In checking around at other repair facilities I found I could get a complete synthetic oil change (if I wanted synthetic oil) for $39.95. Guess I know where I am going in the future - and it's not Liberty! More
