I gave one less star because I found Liberty's prices very high and their lack of human contact after accepting the car for service somewhat disconcerting. I did receive a text or two telling me what the tech was doing. I like to discuss what was done and why it was done to the car rather than just getting a text telling me my car is ready without talking to anybody or saying what to do next - like go to cashier etc. Human contact at a car service dept is very important! More

20 years since I bought a new vehicle. Ability to easily communicate with service is sorely lacking. Customers are apparently only allowed to communicate with their assigned service advisor. They do not answer their phones. My voicemail has a delay of several hours to a day or so. The text feature is OK but it is unclear who is texting. I never got any proactive info on my car as far as when or whether it was seen (since I came in without an appointment when it was stalling out and urgently needed help with “service transmission immediately” lights flashing), what was the diagnosis, what was the status and when it might be ready. Additionally, I am entitled a loaner car with my extended warrantee but without an appointment, none was available for three weeks and it was never communicated that I was even in the queue until I called a day or so later to ask about it. Only when I called and left messages and/or texts did I get responses. I also asked for all the fault codes and only ever got one page vs all the pages, despite several requests. In the end, it does appear to have been fixed so I appreciate that. If I could get a loaner at a closer dealer, I would go there. More
