I came in while travelling with a recently purchased Toyota Certified used vehicle with a "comprehensive" certified used warranty. I had two problems, one of which (a creaking sound in the re Toyota Certified used vehicle with a "comprehensive" certified used warranty. I had two problems, one of which (a creaking sound in the rear) they diagnosed and fixed according to a notice from Toyota. For the other problem (pulling to the left) they merely repeated an alignment which had just been done a few days before and I had explicitly told them was not the problem. They claimed they couldn't find anything else. I was charged $212 in "diagnostic fees" for these problems and was told my warranty did not cover them. I was told that my warranty was not "bumper to bumper" as the dealer I bought it from in VA told me, and that it does not cover "body parts" which is how they classify the rear window tabs that were the source of the noise, and it does not cover alignments (irrelevant because I told them to look for a problem other than alignment). They claimed this is what Toyota Extra Care said and there is nothing they can do about that. I showed the warranty document I was given that says it is a "comprehensive" one year warranty and mentions no exclusions. They refused to respond to this point, continuing to simply say that it was up to Toyota Extra Care, and suggesting I seek reimbursement from the original dealer in VA. It was maddening to have to pay out of pocket for this and hope for reimbursement from another dealer when it clearly should have been covered. I asked for the number to talk to Toyota Extra Care directly and was instead given a number for "Customer Experience" - an office which also deferred to the judgment of Toyota Extra Care and tried to blame the original dealer and refused to react to the point that the document in my hand said "comprehensive" and made no exclusions. The online pamphlet for certified used warranties http://www.toyotacertified.com/ebrochures/toyota_certified.pdf also says "comprehensive" and makes no exclusions. I feel I am being lied to and cheated by Toyota and its dealers. More

Phil Reilley,our sales consultant,was courteous, respectful, soft spoken, knowledgeable, concise andfocused on our needs and desires. He made himself available at our convenience. He is the best sales consultant we have ever used to buy a car. Connie Grabowski, the business manager, was polite and respectful. She gave us information on an extended warranty through a pamplet we could read at our convience. When we sat down to fill out all the paper work it was ready. There was absolutely no pressure to take the extended waranty. Again, she was the best business manager we've ever dealt with. We will definitely use Lia Toyota of Northampton again when purchasing a used car if they have one that meets our specifications. More
I just purchased a 2011 Toyota Tacomma truck. As soon as I walked into the sales room my wife and I were treated very professionally. When we found the truck we wanted we dicussed our trade in and our an additional option we would like on the truck. We also meet NOAH CAHILLAN and we were able to work out the figures to close the deal. I would highly recommend PHIL REILLY and the LIA TOYOTA dealership. More
Searching for a good used car isn't an easy undertaking, I'd visited two Toyota dealerships and two used car lots before stopping in at Lia Honda on a Saturday afternoon. I appreciated the way nobody approached me and I could amble up and down the used lot without being hassled. Toward the end of my tour I spotted what I wanted-- a 2008 black Toyota 4Runner. Inside, I asked to see a sales rep and was introduced to Phil Reilly. He was low key, answered my questions and we were able to work out a deal. Who knows how much money a dealer makes; I don't, but I think Phil brokered an honest agreement. My only gripe with Lia is its coffee. The place should really get a Keurig single-serve, and should absolutely offer cream and milk instead of that powdery stuff that tastes like chalk. An assortment of the day's local newspapers to read would also be nice to read while waiting. I've had the vehicle for almost a week and am quite satisfied. I'm glad to have put in the effort that eventually led me to Northampton Toyota, which is about 35 miles from where I live in Northfield. More

There was so much to think about and to remember. But my experience at Lia Toyota of Northampton was completely positive, and I got a good deal. Phil Reilley, the excellent sales consultant whom I worked with, was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained things carefully, thoroughly, and in a way that I could understand, and he made me comfortable and put me at ease. In addition, he was patient: When the particular car I wanted wasn't available on the lot, a search and order were done, and Phil kept me apprised of the car's status and of my options, even when I traveled out of the area for a few weeks. Once the car arrived and I made the purchase, he made sure that I understood all of the information presented to me. And, since my purchase, he's checked in to make certain I'm satisfied with the car and to see if I have any follow-up questions. I also appreciate the work of sales consultant Ryan Rourke and business manager Connie Grabowski. Ryan helped me when Phil was not available, while Connie clearly and thoroughly explained the financing, service options, and paperwork. Connie was genuinely concerned with what my particular needs were and made what I thought would be a daunting part of the purchase of a car smooth and easy. I highly recommend Lia Toyota of Northampton and heartily thank Phil, Connie, and Ryan for their enthusiasm and great work! More
