Mr. G, we are very disappointed to know that you have been left with the impression that we are “thieves and liars” as this is unjustified and baseless. As per our previous conversations and emails, after you initially expressed your dissatisfaction to us regarding your purchase of a Lexus “L-Certified” 2015 IS250 (@9,483 miles), it was evident that possibly more time should have been taken to explain to you what processes are applicable to an “L-Certified” vehicle. Perhaps taking this additional time would have made it clear that this vehicle met the Lexus Vehicle Eligibility Requirements for an “L-Certified” Lexus. Your vehicle met the Lexus qualifications and was not sold to you as “damaged”. Actions taken, under the Lexus “L-Certified” certification process, on your vehicle, such as the replacement of a windshield due to a minor crack and front bumper minimal repair due to “love bug damage” are acceptable. Therefore after repairs are completed and it passes the required Lexus inspection it is sanctioned with approval to be a Lexus “L-Certified” vehicle. Just to confirm that you are aware, your vehicle is also eligible for the new Lexus 2-year/unlimited-mileage. Limited Warranty begins at the end of the original 4-year/50,000-mile Basic New Vehicle Warranty. You can take advantage of the remainder of the Basic New Vehicle Warranty before the L/Certified Limited Warranty begins. Your vehicle will be applicable for this warranty until 03.31.2021. This creates an unlimited mileage warranty of up to six years from the date of first use (DOFU). If you would like to discuss this matter further please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
