Service experience was not as expected. Sat waiting for 3 hours for an oil change - I went to ask what was taking so long and found out they did a number of things to my car that was not ap Sat waiting for 3 hours for an oil change - I went to ask what was taking so long and found out they did a number of things to my car that was not approved including new tires. I only have 24,000 miles on the car and do not need tires! Had to wait while they put my original tires back on and now feel uncomfortable that my tires were removed from rims and put back. We are a very long time Customer of Lexus of Wayzata. Starting spring of 2024 the new owners of the dealership have caused the customer service to seriously fall off the excellent service we received fro Starting spring of 2024 the new owners of the dealership have caused the customer service to seriously fall off the excellent service we received from the former ownership. Staff turnover, decreased service staff plus a serious failure of follow thru on communications to the customer is nowhere near the level that a Lexus customer expects and deserves. On a scale of 1 (unacceptable) to 10 (best) this new dealership gets a 4. Which well below passing. Many promises made, even by the new GM, are promises not kept. Very disappointing! We really like all the RX 300 thru RX 350s we have purchased. Some of the failures are inexcusable and the GM agreed. Then our last visit a few days ago another failed interaction lead by the failure to communicate. This is not Lexus quality service. Disappointed. I hope they fix the problems and soon because we have liked and enjoyed our Lexus vehicles. I have relayed this to management several times this year. Promises made and not kept. More
