I didn't feel any pressure and they let me to take 4 test drives on 3 different vehicles. When I came on scheduled time to pick my car they told me that I have to wait because some paper work wasn't done. I was just little frustrated. Anyway, my overall experience was B+. I would defiantly recommend Lexus dealership in Watertown. More
I have purchased five Lexus from Lexus of Watertown. Tom Majeski is the sales manager. Were more people throughout the industry like Tom, my sense is the industry would be in far better shape than it is. Ov Majeski is the sales manager. Were more people throughout the industry like Tom, my sense is the industry would be in far better shape than it is. Over the course of what must be some fifteen years, Tom has always been the same: prepared, informed, pro-active, fair, a pleasure to deal with, and above and beyond everything a man of high ethics and principles who can be counted on. The wonderful attributes of Lexus are well documented. It is time to go on the record and document Tom Majeski's attributes as well. More

Price: Ave Sales department: I didn't feel any pressure, there was some price issue but it was solved after manager approved additional discount. Price: Average price. I bet you can find better deal if you travel far from Boston. Customer service: Again, I didn't feel pressure. Sales person explained all financing opportunities. Quality of work: It took time to evaluate my trade-in. Dealership itself: Huge showroom and convinient location. I saw at least 7-8 vehicles before I made my choice. More
The salesperson who greeted me was pleasant and highly professional. I wish I could remember his name, because I liked him. However, when we got into pricing discussions, the manager on duty entered the professional. I wish I could remember his name, because I liked him. However, when we got into pricing discussions, the manager on duty entered the picture, and it went downhill from there. His first name was Tony. I could hear him coming around the corner of the cubicle where I was sitting asking the salesperson "where is he?" in a somewhat abrupt tone. It was a subtle, but telling, signal of his approach to business. I felt like a I was in a Toyota dealership, not a Lexus showroom. [I don't mean to criticize Toyota as a brand, but let's face it, many Toyota dealerships are high-volume, high-pressure environments.] Tony was rough around the edges and borderline rude in his comments about my trade-in vehicle. I wondered if I had come across rudely myself, but I honestly don't think I was the slightest bit abrasive or confrontational. I wanted (or thought I wanted) a Lexus, but the experience left me wondering. Against my better judgement, I left a $1,000 deposit on a new 2009 ES 350, but when I arrived home later that day to compare my trade value to current KBB values, I realized they "recovered" money on the discounted price of the new car by low-balling me on my trade. it was only a few hundred dollars, but it was starting to feel all wrong. I called that night to cancel the sale, and it took two days for them to process a credit to my credit card. I probably could have re-negotiated the price a bit more, but at that point, I had a bad feeling about the post-sale customer experience, so I walked away. I ultimately (just) bought a 2009 BMW 535i, not because of this dealerhsip, but because I guess my heart was with BMW. Lexus is still a fine brand. Nevertheless, I have a low opinion of Lexus of Watertown primarly due to the manager on duty. More
Went in for a used Mini - no one there knew anything about the car. They played the salesman game and I told them the price I would pay. Back and forth for ages, and then the sales manager Tom comes o about the car. They played the salesman game and I told them the price I would pay. Back and forth for ages, and then the sales manager Tom comes out. He tells us that since this is an 05 car and the other one we were considering at another dealer was an 04, we were completely illogical to even consider the older one. He hammered this point home for a good 45 minutes, about how the car is worth thousands more because it is a year newer than the 04. Finally they agreed to our price and we go into the business manager to sign things. The business manager told us the car was an 02! No one mentioned that at all, thanks very much (they didn't bother to check the year etc or give us details of the car, other than what we asked about). We told him we were OK with that price if it was an 05, NOT an 02. The sales manager Tom was called in again, and we used his logic on him - saying that since it's so much older than what we thought, the price should go down thousands. He said no way, and smirked at us an sauntered out. Needless to say we canceled the deal, the original sales man Phillipe was at least nice and looked sorry that his impossibly rude sales manager ruined the deal for him. We would have negotiated a lower price based on the lie because we liked the car, but as the sales manager's ego was bruised he obviously wasn't going to admit defeat. Too bad. Avoid this place as they don't bother learning about the car before they make rather aggressive sales pitches based on inaccurate info. More
This dealership is dishonest. If enough people boycott them, hopefully they'll go out of business. We were shown numerous "new" cars with scratches in them, etc. and lied to about their condition. Brought my car in with window not working. They replaced the window motor (for a huge expense, I may add). Brought my car back in with window not working, they replaced the window again, saying that it had the window motor (for a huge expense, I may add). Brought my car back in with window not working, they replaced the window again, saying that it had burned out. Fortunately it was under warranty. Finally went to another dealership, who replaced the switch to the window, which fixed the problem. Went back to Lexus of Watertown and they refused to give any measurable credit for THEIR ERROR. Which ended costing me over $1000 dollars. Not to mention the time. This is not the first issue I have had with them, just the most severe. I highly recommend you stay away from them. More
