I had an outstanding overall experience at Lexus of Watertown. I contacted this dealership at the recommendation of a friend at work after a miserable experience with another Lexus dealership in Sharo Watertown. I contacted this dealership at the recommendation of a friend at work after a miserable experience with another Lexus dealership in Sharon, MA. At the previous dealership it was the usual sales tactics, being subjected to every tactic to squeeze out every last dollar. I eventually walked out of the dealership when I was told the dealership would be losing money on the transaction and could not meet my price. I called Adam Skolnick that weekend, and told him what I was looking for in price including my trade-in. Adam actually beat the price I was looking for, with no sales pressure and no gimmicks. I came in the next day to make the deal, and my trade was evaluated. All-in-all, it took half the time to choose the car, sign the paperwork and walk out the door than it did at the previous dealership, and the deal was actually closed. Working with the Finance Manager, Alex Abutaleb, was also a pleasure. The car was delivered on time, the car was thoroughly reviewed in every last detail by Jimmy Yu, with excellent follow-up. For anyone out there looking for a Lexus, get your best price somewhere else and then give Adam a call. I am sure he will beat the deal, and make it a very easy process. Or save yourself some time and just call him directly without the bother of going anyplace else. More

He has represented the dealership in a professional, caring, and dependable manner. From our first scheduled service check-up to our recent decision to install an automatic remote starter, he has demystified the whole process and assisited us with the details. IN other words, after he sold us the car, he continued to make himself available and accessible to us. How many car dealerships can boast that! What a refreshing thought that a car dealership is interested in forging a bond between customer and sales personnel. We are very impressed with this innovative approach to conducting business. I just bought a new ES from Lexus of Watertown and had a great experience. I had been looking for a about a month and had been to two other dealers during my search. Very friendly and knowledgeable salesperson, but once we said we wanted to buy the new RX 450 HYBRID, it took over two hours to complete the transaction as follows: one hour to find inventory, and get a pri said we wanted to buy the new RX 450 HYBRID, it took over two hours to complete the transaction as follows: one hour to find inventory, and get a price. Unbelievably, the cost of vehicle was written on a piece of scrap paper, with their offer below it. We didn't see the car fact sheet until after we agreed to the price. We immediately agreed as they gave us the price we expected on the vehicle (this is the age of the internet after all), and bit more than we expected on the trade-in. But it still took another hour after that to fill out the paperwork. The salesperson, as nice as he was, was completely distracted by having to run all over the showroom for whatever paperwork he needed, took several smoking breaks, and then started to help another customer. A which point I told him he had ten minutes or we were going to leave. My prior car was from BMW, and before that I drove a Volvo. At BMW, they print out what is coming in and give you the price. It takes a few more minutes to fill out the paperwork, which the salesperson has in his possession. At Volvo, they print out the car sheet, and ask if you can agree to X% over their cost. Again, all the paperwork is on the salesperson's desk. No one wanders around the showroom. There is no need for the salesperson to ever leave your side. Lexus needs to figure out how to make this happen in their showroom. So to sum up: 1) they had the goods: the RX is an incredible vehicle, 2)they were fair on price: we paid what every one else is paying, and got a fair price on the trade-in, 3) the salesperson was very friendly and knowledgeable but completely disorganized. That two hours should have been 30 minutes. POST SALE UPDATE: Adam Skolnick, Sales Manager, saw this post and the dealership has tried to make amends. The car came in faster than expected (2 wks actual vs 3 wks expected) and the salesperson did a very nice and thorough job showing me the entire car. I drove off the lot SATISFIED, with the feeling they they took my complaint about the sales experience quite seriously. More
