I have been under the impression that the Internet is a tool for purchasing cars and that a person should be able to buy from ANY dealer if they have the specific model and color for which one is looking. tool for purchasing cars and that a person should be able to buy from ANY dealer if they have the specific model and color for which one is looking. But it is clearly appears that this dealership is really only good with local clientele. After months of searching, I was finally getting the car that I wanted...or so I thought. In the midst of finalizing, the salesperson disappeared with no explanation from him or the dealership and no apology. The car was subsequently sold to another person while I tried to find out what was happening. I was referred to another salesperson, believing that there would be some resolution and effort to find another car or at least communicate with me on a regular basis. This is the type of incident that is important enough for a general sales manager to address...and not to put it in the hands of a clerk with little experience. After another 10 days of no contact following a phone and email message, I finally received a phone message telling me that she had found a car for me...a ridiculous communication given that they were offering a totally different, much older and discontinued model. I write this note to anyone else who is relying on the internet to find the car of their dreams. If you have to settle for a completely different car due to people who don't take you seriously, you might as well have the experience of being economically sustainable by supporting your local economy. In no way does this dealership deserve a coveted 5.0 rating. More
