I’ve owned a Porsche, Jaguar, BMW and Land Rover. Far and away, it’s my Lexus that is the best of all over the status cars. The dealership/service department is a huge part of my satisfaction. I’ve visited other Lexus service departments and been very disappointed. I looked around and found Lexus in Pleasanton. It’s a thirty minute drive to get there but is worth it to me. Top notch facility…Clean, many customer amenities and easy to find location; right off of the 580 freeway. The best rider/service agent in Gary Chan. He is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and man of his word. Delivers on his promises…The car is serviced and out on time, as promised and beautifully washed. He never trying to talk me into something my car doesn’t need. I’m very satisfied with the services found at Lexus of Pleasanton. More
DURING ROUTINE SERVICE MECHANIC NOTED TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK ON UNDERCARRAIGE. I WAS CHARGED $240 TO DIAGNOSE LEAK. MECHANIC NOTED: TRANSMISSION CASE IS LEAKING FLUID. NO SERVICEABLE PARTS. RECOMMENDED REP LEAK ON UNDERCARRAIGE. I WAS CHARGED $240 TO DIAGNOSE LEAK. MECHANIC NOTED: TRANSMISSION CASE IS LEAKING FLUID. NO SERVICEABLE PARTS. RECOMMENDED REPLACING TRANSMISSION, BUT DID NOT CHECK WHETHER THE TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS SUFFICIENT, NOR WHETHER ANY NEEDED TO BE ADDED AT THAT TIME TO ASSURE WHETHER THE CARE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE. I COMPLAINED AND THEY OFFERED TO CHECK FLUID LEVEL AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, BUT INCONVENIENCE TO GO BACK 2ND TIME AND WAIT. More
