This is how customers are retained and come back for the second, third, etc. purchase of a Lexus. Pleasanton Lexus clearly understands how important this role is to creating long term relationships. Jason Portillo, for us, is the face of Pleasanton Lexus. Our experience could not have been better. Jason has seen our 470 with child seats in it, mud from our several Baja trips, all the way to our two boys moving out. The 470, and Jason, have been and remain part of our family. His concern for customers is absolutely genuine. At some point, we'll need to move on to our next vehicle. My wife and I would like for our next one to come from Lexus of Pleasanton and we absolutely want Jason to be our service contact. More

Jason Portillo has been our service coordinator at Lexus of Pleasanton almost as long as I’ve had my 2003 LX470. Yes you read that correctly 2003 (286,000 miles). The two tires on the passenger side of my Lexus RX 350 were in good shape until I hit a curb driving 15 mph, When I stopped to look at the damage, there was about an inch and half of rubber gone on the fr were in good shape until I hit a curb driving 15 mph, When I stopped to look at the damage, there was about an inch and half of rubber gone on the front sidewall and a little bit less on the rear. I thought I needed to replace the two tires quickly as images of a blow out keep crossing my mind, I took the car to Lexus of Pleasanton with the intent of getting two new tires and maybe an alignment. The person who usually helps me, Ron Ng, took my situation to their tire expert for an evaluation. It turned out that I didn't do any damage to the belts, so my tires were still good to drive on. What a surprise that was for me as I had told my wife that any tire people that I show the damage to are going to recommend new tires. So I was feeling good and willing now to spend a little money on preventative maintenance. The alignment still made sense since I steered the car into a curb at a decent speed. I also had them change the fluid for the front and rear differentials as I am driving an all wheel drive version of the RX. In the end it was heartening to know that there are people out there that don't always take advantage of a situation when they have the upper hand and the client is vulnerable (like I was). I've been to Lexus of P-Town a few times now and I've always had a positive experience. Plus, their waiting area is awesome. More
