Nival Macid was terrific to work with and Paul Hale was extremely helpful in showing me how the technology works. Everybody seemed to work together well and I am the proud owner of a new Lexus. I originally rated the Lexus of Cool Springs with 5 stars, I have unfortunately not had the 5 star experience so I am giving an update. Let’s start with April 13th, my husband sent me a car listing stars, I have unfortunately not had the 5 star experience so I am giving an update. Let’s start with April 13th, my husband sent me a car listing from the Lexus dealership. That night, we went to drive the car and loved it. 2 days later (Saturday), we went back to apply for the car. We applied later in the evening so we didn’t hear back right away. Monday rolls around and I talk to Luz (saleswoman) & she states I was denied the loan. I was not given any reason and was surprised as my credit was in a good spot, we had money down, etc. I was frustrated because I wasn’t given any information other than “hi I’m sorry you were not approved for this car” I then spoke with the manager and asked for more information and realized my husband had to co-sign since the car we were trading in was in his name. Which makes sense, so we re applied with both of us. It didn’t get approved because they needed more money down with the trade in being upside down. Fast forward to a month later, the price of the car dropped so we went back to look & we were able to put more money down. We worked with Victoria (she was amazing) and her and Scott were able to get us an approval. Everything worked out & we left happy and excited to pickup the car. Monday rolls around and we go to pickup the car. We wait for about 2 hours until we’re able to talk to the finance guy. We don’t mind waiting as there were a few others there so that wasn’t an issue. Once we were able to speak to the finance guy, he told us the credit bureau will be calling to check for a fraud alert but everything was all set. We signed our names & picked up the car. He stated we would receive an email with how to pay the new car loan, info on our tire protection & more. A week goes by, the fraud alert issue we figured out on our end like we were told and that was it. No one else reached out to tell us there was a delay. Another week goes by & the car we traded in was now due for the monthly payment (even though we haven’t had the traded in car in 2.5 weeks) the dealership failed to tell us they haven’t sent the payment. So now the car payment on the traded in car is past due & we were not budgeting that payment as we were told it would be paid off by the dealership as any other trade in goes. It has now been a month and we have not heard from the finance department, or anyone to tell us 1. When they will be paying the trade in off. 2. How are we paying our first payment on the loan and when. 3. Our tire protection, how to use that/information on that. I have reached out multiple times to the saleswoman but she is not able to answer any of the questions or concerns I have with this situation. The dealership has not once called us to notify that there was any delay and we wouldn’t have even heard from them if I had not continued to reach out. I am so happy with the purchase of the car but I am so frustrated and concerned with the process of getting it. I truly hope moving forward the company will call their customers to inform them of any delays or any issues that may have come up. We have been in the dark this entire month and it’s very frustrating. More
