Worst Vehicle Service Experience in My Life! I was contacted by the service director, Gary York only to blame me for not using the correct terms when explaining the problem that I was having with my vehicle. Mr. York contacted me on several occasions in defense of the lack of a thorough diagnosis being perform on my vehicle. Never offering any courtesy for the inconvenience of having to repetitively visit the dealership for the same issue. One instance my vehicle was brought to me on flat. I reported this to Mr. York, and was told "at least I did not charge you for airing up the tire". As long as I am in the Memphis area, I will never purchase another Lexus because Lexus of Memphis is the only option to have my vehicle repaired at the dealer. More

Incorrect quote I needed to get electrical wiring set up for a hitch so I could tow a trailer, and uHaul wouldn't do that part with a foreign model. Some guy in the s I needed to get electrical wiring set up for a hitch so I could tow a trailer, and uHaul wouldn't do that part with a foreign model. Some guy in the service department named Tim quotes me at 175 for the part and 125 for labor, tells me it should take approximately 2 hours. I get to the dealership, and I'm told by someone in the service department that labor is 250 because it's 125 per hour, making the total 470 after taxes, drastically different than expected. I would have tried to get quotes from Toyota dealerships had I known this, and since I'm scheduled to move tomorrow, I don't have the opportunity to cancel the appointment and look elsewhere. Lexus was unsympathetic and told me "well that's the truth of it" (referring to the new price). Thoroughly disappointed, first and last time coming here for sure. More
Frustrated I had my car serviced a few months ago and was told I had a recall and they were going to call me once the part came in... never received the call. I I had my car serviced a few months ago and was told I had a recall and they were going to call me once the part came in... never received the call. I have tried to schedule an appointment several times but they NEVER seem to have a courtesy car available that fits my schedule! The dealership in general isn't all that bad, but they hardly ever answer the phone and you get stuck with the answering service, which is a freaking joke! More

No other employees even spoke to us while we were in the show room. They low balled us on our trade in and came off of MSRP $1,000 and wanted to charge an outrageous amount for window tint that was already installed. We called Parker Lexus in Little Rock and beat Memphis deal $4,000 over the phone and they tinted the Windows for free. Parker acted like they wanted our business. Lexus of Memphis acted like we had inconvenienced them by showing up. More

Called & spoke with Sean about my GS350 that I wanted to sell. We agreed upon a price over the phone. I stopped by a few days later with the car. They wrote me a check & he even drove me home. For an organization that boasts of their passion for providing a world-class experience, I again was not impressed. I still embrace the thrill of owning and driving a Lexus, but I will never purchase another Lexus from the Memphis dealership. When I entered, there were at least 10 salespeople who basically looked at me as if to say "what are you doing here?" I continued to move about, and still no contact until I asked one salesperson to tell me what would make me want to purchase the 2013 GS350. He appeared stunned and mumbled something about it being a better car than the GS430 that I own, said the GS430 was more conservative...okay. As they continued to sip beer and wine, they never offered us anything or inquired as to whether we were looking for a new vehicle or anything. I am still stunned that in 2012, this could still happen. I must sales team leaves a lot to be desired; however, the service department appears to be much better, so KUDOS to them for having to deal with the folks that the sales team has pissed off. As my friends and I say (4 of which are in the market this year) Nashville, her we come! Respectfully, yet sadly submitted More
