Lexus Service Experience After checking in, I waited 30 minutes for a service rep. to go over my service with me. I had to ask the lady at the desk why no one had come to tal After checking in, I waited 30 minutes for a service rep. to go over my service with me. I had to ask the lady at the desk why no one had come to talk to me. Long story short, Ms Teegra was new, admitted to be "backed up" with other paperwork and apologized for my wait. I was charged for a service that was to be free. When I questioned it, went to the manager and had it fixed. I was also mistakenly taken to the wrong car! This is highly unusual for Lexus, but I attributed to the new service person who had only been there 5 days. It was obvious she was still in the learning mode. The waiting area was exceptional and everyone was friendly. There was a stocked refrigerator with plenty of snacks, drinks and fruits for everyone to enjoy. More

Not in her control is this dealer's practice of a $600 dealer "document fee" which is a "bad faith" boost to the agreed price, after the fact- an all too common car dealer practice. And, their amount is even higher than others, in my experience. No wonder car dealers have a "lack of trust" issue. If they need more $ for the vehicle, be up front in the pricing; don't play the sleazy pick pocket after an agreed price. More
