I was promised several scratches would be professionally repainted (not with just a touch-up pen) upon vehicle pick-up. When I showed up, not only was the vehicle not ready, but i was informed the "paint gu repainted (not with just a touch-up pen) upon vehicle pick-up. When I showed up, not only was the vehicle not ready, but i was informed the "paint guy" had just arrived, and that 2-days of body-work would somehow be performed in 30 minutes while I wait, which i then figured out meant they were in fact just touching up the paint. Empty promises were made! After that, I asked for my deposit back, and went to the Massapequa Lexus dealership down the road, where the experience was way better. More
Do not service your Lexus here. Can you imagine going for service on your Lexus because the side mirror was stolen and the casing ripped off, getting a price, leaving the car, and the next day receiving a ph service on your Lexus because the side mirror was stolen and the casing ripped off, getting a price, leaving the car, and the next day receiving a phone call to ask if we had the mirror? WHAT WOULD I BE DOING WITH THE MIRROR? That's why the car was brought in. It turns out that I had been given a price for just the casing. When I was given a new price and decided to go through insurance, I was told pictures couldn't be taken because the casing was already mounted. When I did contact my insurance company (GEICO, who I have found to be very reliable), I was told that this supposedly now discounted price was more than I should have paid for the entire replacement. I have purchased many cars in my life and it took me this long to praise a dealership. I originally went in for service and wound up with two new cars. The customers service was exceptional with in the service department. I had the pleasure to speak with the service manager, this does not happen at most dealerships. They told me my car would be ready in 45 and it was done on time. i asked for them to try and get a stain out of our front seat and it was done when the car was delivered. The quality of work was exactly what you would have expected. The entire staff at this dealer ship is truly a pleasure to deal with. They welcome you as soon as you arrive with respect and friendliness. My wife one day had to get a loaner to use and she got into an accident with there car, when I called into report the car accident the first thing they asked was if my wife was ok, where she was and if there is any thing they could do for her. Most of the time you will get asked the question how is the car and howe bad was the accident."Kudos" to the Service Department!!! I have had the pleasure to meet with the General Manager of Rockville Center Lexus. In most places you will deal with a salesmen or a sales manager. This sales man Leo Kwan is the finest in the business. He has been there for me no matter what the question was day or night, day off or on duty. All I would have to do is text him and he would get the questions answered or get me the correct person to speak with. You have never met a true honest car salesmen until you have gone into this dealership and ordered a car from him. The general manager of this dealer ship has truly changed this dealer ship around since I have been there in the past. He goes out of his way to help his customers and I truly think he puts himself in the customers place when he thinks about there concerns. Now who does this in todays world, not many........ who greets you with a smile and lets you leave with a smile in todays world. Most times you leave saying a car dealer ship got the best of you. When I leave my dealer ship I feel like they did the Best for me! Mr Keith Drago I have never thought I would ever say nice things about a car dealer ship. I wish I could afford to hire a plane to write all of this in the sky so all would be able to see it. Or take a full page out in a major newspaper and say "kudo"s to Keith drago and his team at Rockville Center Lexus. You guy's are the BEST!!!!!! On October 7th, 2010. I went to test drive and possibly purchase a 2010 Lexus ES at Lexus at Rockville Center, New York as they were nearest my home in Queens. I wanted a 2010 White car and Grey interior w purchase a 2010 Lexus ES at Lexus at Rockville Center, New York as they were nearest my home in Queens. I wanted a 2010 White car and Grey interior with Navigation. Ms. Akua Lamb was my salesperson. I did test drive their test car. They did not have a white with grey in stock, but would do a "search and locate" to find it. She would call me the next day with the results of the search. She never did call that next day but more about that later... Ms. Lamb would not budge on their inflated price of $ xxxxx.xx as after all, I was getting $3K back from Lexus. Ms. Lamb said I needed to leave a $1000.00 deposit, which would be fully refundable. And, by using my credit card I would not have to come back if I cancelled the, (in my opinion,) no car - non existent "order" and that the refund could be done right over the phone. I charged the $1000 to my Visa credit card. The next day, October 8th, I received no such call from Ms. Lamb as to whether or not they had a car for me. And that was her big mistake. I called Bay Ridge Lexus and found the exact car meeting my wants right on their lot and at a substantial savings. I drove to their dealership, met with a salesperson, shown the very vehicle I would receive and left $500.00 on the spot on my credit card with Bay Ridge Lexus to purchase the car.. cash deal. I immediately phoned Akua Lamb at Rockville Center from my cell on my drive home and thanked her for her time and help, but I was buying another car. When she asked why, I lied and told her that I bought an Acura for two reasons: as to not cause bad negotiations between Bay Ridge Lexus and Rockville Center Lexus dealerships and as not to reopen negotiations with Rockville Center Lexus. I was satisfied with this new deal at Bay Ridge Lexus. I have purchased 2 other Lexus cars with Bay Ridge in the past and always received excellent service with them. Why change now -- because the other dealership is closer in distance? No. Saving money and professional serivce gets the sale from me. Not following up with me the next day was not professional. Ms. Lamb took my credit card number over the phone for my refund but did say her dealership had located three White with grey interior 2010 Lexus ES cars, and that her manager would be calling me. I knew it would be to pressure me, but not to the degree he did. Keep reading for the story... Monday, October 11th Ms. Lamb finally did call asking had I yet taken possession of my new car? I told her no, but that I had already secured insurance for it and was picking it up Wednesday or Thursday. I could barely get that sentence out when she began talking over me saying that "WELL, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO BUY THE CAR FROM US, AS AFTER ALL, THEY DID A 'SEARCH AND LOCATE' FOR IT! THEY FOUND THREE CARS MEETING MY DESCRIPTION AND BECAUSE OF THIS I 'MIGHT' LOSE MY DEPOSIT!!" I strongly argued my side of the story, but to no avail. Ms. Lamb then rudely hung up on me. Like I said..not professional. Today, Tuesday, Oct. 12th I did get a call from Keith Drago, General Manager of Rockville Center who informed me I would NOT be getting my refund of $1000.00. We had a very heated argument to say the least. He wore me down so much that at that point I finally admitted the truth...I hadn't bought an Acura -- I had a deal with Bay Ridge Lexus. When Mr. Drago asked what I paid for the car, I would NOT say. He then began playing The Price is Right by trying to guess the new price of my new deal so as to beat it, and he eventually did--after awhile of guessing. Unbelievably Mr. Drago kept berating me by repeating "YOU LIVE IN (CITY). YOU ARE OUR CUSTOMER BY VICINITY !! and I WANT THIS SALE!!" OK, so now I can get the car cheaper than Bay Ridge. But its not about that...do I want to even do business with a place like this? I was so turned off and upset at this point by their unethical, unprofessional, forceful fraudulent, practices, that I told him that at this point I wouldn't do business with them if they gave me the car for FREE! I told him I had already informed my credit card company about this fraud, (which I have done) and that I was contacting the Attorney Generals office as well the NY Motor Vehicle Department Fraud Department and our local news stations here in NY. Mr. Drago, told me "go right ahead, but you are still not getting your $1000 refund!" This is a General Manager of a prestigious company? What a maniac! If you can drive to Rockville Center you can certainly drive to Bay Ridge. Go there and get an honest deal. I had no ax to grind until now. A $1000 ax. Bay Ridge Lexus is aware of what Rockville Center Lexus is putting me through and is trying to help me contact the higher ups at Lexus, Inc to report these scammers. I would love to blow the lid of this crooked dealership and let the general public know what it is really like at Lexus of Rockville Center. So help me God, I will fight this until I have my $1000 back in hand. This is my story to date, October 12, 2012. More
My RX-350 was in for a recall. The service mgr said we needed brakes and tires. Since they were over priced on tires (double Goodyears price) I decided to take the car to Goodyear to have the tires and b needed brakes and tires. I instructed Goodyear to replace the tires and to install new brakes on the front of the vehicle. After 1 hour, I got a call from the shop asking me "why" I wanted brakes. I told them that Lexus of Rockville Centre advised me the car was in need of brakes (and not safe) I was invited in to view the brakes, and was shown that they were at least 40% brake pads still available! A co-worker also bought his car at this dealer. When I decided to tell him what happened, before i could finish, he said, "dont tell me, they told you that you need brakes!!" I was shocked when he told me of a similar experience. Hearing this, I decided to call the dealers manager, Keith Drago. He claimed that he was investigating, and that this was not his normal practice. update :10/2010 -- the manager (Keith) was instrumental in bringing this poor "service" experience to a happy ending. He acknowledged a "bad egg" in the group, and worked to rectify and satisfy our complaint. We purchased another car from him, and in the end are satisfied with the result. More
Recently, I visited this dealership with my family. I was looking to purchase a new Lexus ES 350. I met with Mr. Leo Keong who was the salesperson assigned to us. We had to wait 45-50 minutes to get a test car to drive. Meanwhile, he took all our personal information beforehand and generally ignored us and was busy preening his non-existent hair, or adjusting his suit and in general fussing over the way he looked for the whole time. 2. I liked the car, so I couldn't care less about 1. But then, he wouldn't negotiate the price of the car!!! By even $ 200-300!!! He brought the price down by $50, when we insisted that Raylle Lexus and even Ray Catena Lexus had offered us a better price! I told him that he could keep the 50 dollars and buy lunch at the TGI Friday right behind the dealership. 3. In spite of this, I aggreed to buy the car, b/c I fell in love the car. But the straw that broke the camel's back was when he made me fill out a form for my credit check, and later came abck and told me that my credit wasn't good enough! When I asked him to tell me what the credit score was, he totally BSed me about how he was not authorized to tell me my score!!! Then, on my aggressive insistence he told me the score, but wouldn't destroy my personal information. 4. Finally, totally fed up with the fact that he was offering me an overpriced ticket on the car, I told him to throw in som minor feature like a partial wood trim. he flat out refused. 5. Through the entire time, he went on repeatedly looking at his watch! EXCUSE ME, AREN'T YOU GETTING PAID ONE WAY OR THE OTHER...? 6. Absolutely hopeless! And he boasted that he has 8 years of sales experience! SHAME ON THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY DO NOT DESERVE THE LEXUS NAME! If they could not manage to sell to me, when I absolutely desired to buy a car, I wonder what they do to people who are undecided! More
The sales person sold us a car, which was advertised with two keys. When we got the car, he denied there ever was a second key, even though the advertisement specifically said there was a second key. When confronted with the ad, he said he specifically knew there was not a seoond key for the car. After getting a second, spare key made, my son found the other key in the glove compartment. I really wish the sales person had been straightforward with us, as it totally destroyed my faith in this dealership. I would not do business with them again. I hope the car is alright, and I hope other Lexus dealerships are not as dishonest. More
I had been searching for a Lexus for about a month. I visited 2 other dealerships (Rallye Lexus and Smithtown Lexus) before a friend recommended me to Sheila Mancuso at Rockville Center. Sheila was upfront with me about the all the costs assosciated with leasing as far as bank fees and documentation fees and beat the price I was given by the other dealers by over $30 a month. When I arrived at Rockville Center to pick up my car it was ready to go - Sheila was actually wiping down the car herself when I arrived. The paperwork took about 25 minutes and I was driving my new car home in an hour!! Yeah!!! I leased the 2008 IS 250 All Wheel Drive with Navigation!!! It's Silver with Black interior and it's hot! The manager even came out to thank me again for the purchase. Thanks to Sheila and Lexus of Rockville Center for making this purchase seemless! You guys are awesome! Kevin Donnelly More

This means she knows the availability of the car. This is not my first experience with the car dealers but second. I see the asking price something that is attractive, but then I after I setup an appointment, they will say its gone. More

Richard spent a great deal of time with me and handled the transaction from the moment I walked into the showroom as a true professional. He was not high pressure nor did he ever at anytime try to upsell me. In fact as a sale professional myself he treated me as I always treat my clients.
