Tim took the time on the phone prior to visit to understand my needs and trim piece failure. Melissa was my service advisor for this unexpected trip to the dealership service department. Initially my vehicle was taken in for an issue the VW app alerted me to, which they weren’t able to replic to the dealership service department. Initially my vehicle was taken in for an issue the VW app alerted me to, which they weren’t able to replicate. There were some other issues that existed (brake flush, 2 tires that were very well worn, and two filters that needed replacement as well) which I found odd because this vehicle was purchased as a CPO in August of 2020. We hadn’t even put 3500 miles on it since purchasing, and I asked her wouldn’t those items have been replaced (services performed) as part of the certification process? She wasn’t sure, as she usually deals with new cars, but would partner with her used car manager to get some answers. Ultimately, all the items were addressed (at no cost to me) and they even performed an oil change and wash as well. I have to say that I’m very happy with the service and thankful that Melissa was able to intervene with the management staff to correct these issues. This turned out to be an exemplary experience, and VW should be happy to have these folks representing their brand. More
