This is the second time I have gotten a vehicle from here. My first truck was a tundra and I just traded that in For a 4runner. Both experiences were good. I was in the market for a mini-van and had chosen the Toyota Sienna. I was ready to buy that day but I could not get the salesperson (Rick) to give me a price. He said he would talk to his manager and call me that night. Well, he didn't call and didn't call and so finally I called him. He informed me that he had to get HIS car fixed and that it was very important that he do so and that he would call me back in 30 minutes. He didn't. So an hour later I called the dealership to talk to someone else. Then he called. When I asked for a price, he said he wouldn't give it over the phone and would I come in. At this point I became very angry. I stated that I had JUST BEEN in and he wouldn't give me the price then. It was an hour drive round trip and I wasn't about to make it again unless I was ready to sign the papers. I was about to lay down around $40K for a vehicle and I was ready to do so that night. All I wanted was a price. Any idiot would know to comparison shop when laying out that kind of money. He wouldn't do it, but put his manager on. This is where it really got fun. Remember, I was a customer who wanted to buy their product and wanted to do it right then. And they STILL wouldn't give me a price! What kind of business won't tell you how much their product is?! At this point the manager starts to argue with me. Yes, argue. He tells me that he can't meet the prices of Toyota in Apex and that I've wasted everyone's time and how unfair it all is. Here I was trying to purchase a car and the manager is literally yelling at me and rather than give me a price, he is giving me his business woes. After being so rudely interrupted, yelled at and insulted, I hung up and went straight to Toyota of Apex. Not only did they beat the price, they were friendly, competent, and went out their way to get what I wanted. They didn't have the color I wanted, (the one that was already in stock at Leith) so they searched until they found it. I will wait a month to get it - they had to ship it directly from Japan- but I don't mind. I would rather do that and give them my loyal business than ever set foot in Leith Toyota again. If that is how they treat a potential customer, how on earth do you think they would treat you once they already have your money? More
I have leased Toyota RAV4 2011, Scott work very hard to finish the deal with me, he is the person change my mind to purchase this Vechile. Over all the employees are very helpful. The overall experience was bad because of the finance officer. Our salesman was actually quite nice and helpful. Once we got into the financing it was terrible. We were preaproved for a loan at our bank for a great rate. We applied for 0% financing, and eventually got turned down. He told us we were approved for 9% and that it was a good rate for our credit, which is not true. when i told him again that i was aproved for 4.25% at my credit union, he told me that wasn't the rate, and insisted I was mistaken. The only redeeming thing at Leith Toyota was our salesman, Terry Eackles, he was freindly and didn't insist on pushing something we didn't want. He asked us what we were looking for, a corolla or a yaris, and didn't try to push anything else. More
I went in to purchase a new car with CASH. I wanted to purchase with cash and NOT finance beacuse know what my credit looks like. They said the credit check was just to make sure I am who I say I am. They came back and said they were not going to be able to accept my personal check due to my credit. This means they told me an out right LIE about why they wanted to see my credit. STAY AWAY unless you dont care about good customer service and LIARS dont bother you. More
Told car was going to be serviced a maximum of an hour and a half. Its been over 4 hours, and when trying to contact them all of their lines are busy. No phone call yet received. Very unsatisfied. Go to FRED ANDERSON, the people there are a whole lot nicer and you never have to go out of your way just to get some answers. More
Got ripped when I bought a new Camry.. Traded in my Old car for 3000 dollars (after haggling) and within 3-4 days, it was up for sale for 7000 dollars on their website. Why did I give an overall experience rating of 4 because of the lie the saleman told me about how much the taxes, tags, and other fees were before we agreed upon the final deal. I blame myself for not taking a closer look at the final number until I got home but him for telling me a lie. The number he gave was about $750 more than what he stated making me think that I got a deal better by $750. More
