Had a horrible experience with the staff at this dealership on Friday March 26, 2021. Drove 4 hours to look at a used nissan pathfinder, that was my mistake to go to a toyota dealership to look at dealership on Friday March 26, 2021. Drove 4 hours to look at a used nissan pathfinder, that was my mistake to go to a toyota dealership to look at a nissan, but lesson learned. I was told by zarina that the vehicle was being detailed as we spoke, not sure of their definition of detailed, but my standards are a lot higher and I would not have paid someone for such a shotty job. After looking over the pathfinder it had numerous scratches and door dings, the passenger side mirror would not rotate in with the buttons, the cap was broken on the radiator overflow tank and the brakes were completely wore out. After mentioning this to zarina, i told her the vehicle was overpriced compared to others I have looked at, she informed me that because of covid that they have a priced as is policy and there was no negotiating. So you know what happens next, she says she is going to the manager and leaves us sitting there, the whole time I am watching her looking at her cellphone. So then when I get up to leave, she comes over to say that the manager is ready to speak to me. So I get the same run around from him about the no negotiation, and I said thank you we have looked at others in better condition and price. So I show him one of the vehicles and he takes my phone and starts scrolling through saying that he is looking for a vin # so he can some how prove to me that I would not be getting a good deal on it. So I ask for my phone back after basically being insulted by this manager and I leave the property. Heading back towards Charlotte I receive a call from another manager asking about the reason I left without purchasing the vehicle, and I informed him that I felt the vehicle was overpriced compared to others I have looked at, he snaps back and says if you found a better vehicle just say you found a better vehicle and be done with it. Ok, so now he has pushed the wrong button. At the time I had not found a better vehicle, but to begin with when you call a potential customer and start belittling them it may be time to find a different profession. So then he wants to know how I am comparing vehicles and their value, and I told him KBB for starters, he claps back at me and says KBB doesn't sell cars and I shouldn't be using them as a reference. Which is amusing to me since on their own site map it exclaims "Get Your KBB Instant Cash Offer" How ironic. So we purchased a nissan pathfinder in charlotte,nc. with 28,000 less miles, just 2 door dings and good brakes and all electric mirrors worked perfect, for $1800.00 less. Will not ever visit a Leith dealership again because of the way I was treated The world is too big to have to deal with small minded people. More
