Great place to buy a car I went to Leith Kia after seeing a car that was listed on Cars.com. I knew that I wanted a Kia but wasn't sure of the model. I search different car s I went to Leith Kia after seeing a car that was listed on Cars.com. I knew that I wanted a Kia but wasn't sure of the model. I search different car sites looking for a car that I liked. I saw a Kia Forte that I like at another dealership but it was the wrong color so I kept looking. I found the car i wanted after extending the distance I was willing to travel. Leith Kia had the exact exterior and interior color I was looking for at a great price. I sent an email to see if the car was still available and received a response saying that it was but when I got there it wasn't. They didn't have the black interior that I wanted. Mr. Marc spoke with his boss Mr. Sherwood who assured that he would find something that I would be happy with and he did just that. Mr. Marc and Mr. Sherwood worked to put in a car that was better than the one I had seen on Cars.com. Mr. Sherwood worked with me and did an excellent job of getting the car in a price range that I was satisfied with. Both men went above and beyond to make sure that my time wasn't wasted by traveling that far and leaving with nothing. I had a concern about the car a couple of days after the sale and Mr. Sherwood was there to answer my question and ease my concern. Mr. Marc followed up a couple days later just to see if I had any other questions. Great staff and excellent customer service, I would recommend Leith Autopark Wendell to anyone looking for a car. If you are looking for a car, go see Mr. Marc and Mr. Sherwood and you will leave a happy customer. More

I have been very happy with the service department at Kia Wendell so when I was looking for a new certified, pre owned Sorento I decided to go to them. I worked with James to look at inventory on the lot. Th Wendell so when I was looking for a new certified, pre owned Sorento I decided to go to them. I worked with James to look at inventory on the lot. There wasn’t really anything on the lot that fit the body style I was looking for (EX). But then sales manager Sherwood suggested that James pull a new, Sorento, EX up for me to look at. With the discounts available he told me I could get it for close to some of the pre-owned vehicles I was looking at. I looked at it. Loved it. Sherwood figures up the deal IN WRITING and I was very happy with it. I had to check with my husband and told them that but also said I wanted the vehicle and would call to let them know when I’d be back in with the check - oh yeah I was paying cash - no financing. While we were working on this deal there was a man sitting at a table nearby. He was joking with me “you better watch out I might buy that car.” Neither the sales manager or the salesman said anything to me about this man actually being there to buy THAT vehicle. They didn’t say - if you want it you need to grab it now. Nothing. I could have had my husband drive the check over immediately. Soooo.... I called the next morning to make arrangements for paperwork and payment and find out the car was sold to the man who had been sitting there the whole time we were dealing. Some kind of scam. When I confronted James about it he told me “first come first serve” - not real professional but I replied well you brought it up to show me and Sherwood did the deal in writing so that’s not first come first serve? Nope not at this dealership. I don’t know what kind of game they were running but why even bring the vehicle up and go to the trouble of working up a deal if the other customer was “first come first serve”. Didn’t he want to buy it? Were they playing us off each other and I didn’t even know it? Not sure but unfortunately they’ve lost a customer- and so has the service department. I know they probably don’t care because they still made their money but bad customer service experiences get retold 20x more often than good ones. EDIT: I bought a vehicle from another dealership - they were very transparent. I found out in the midst of that transaction that the deal Sherwood printed for me was a lie. I was told it was a NEW car with 14 miles on the odometer (I have this in writing). The vehicle was actually a courtesy vehicle on their lot that had 7,200+ miles on it. Dishonesty. Be warned. More
From the time that I dropped my car off to be serviced until I picked it up, every person was extremely friendly and helpful!!!
