On Monday 07/03/2023 i brought my kia sorento in for an oil change, inspection and to find out why i was losing a quart of oil every 400 miles. In October or November i brought the car in for the same prob oil change, inspection and to find out why i was losing a quart of oil every 400 miles. In October or November i brought the car in for the same problem , i was told the gasket was shot and needed to be replaced. I said ok, what ever it takes. I sat there 7 hours before i was told they would give me a loner to go home and come back the next day to pick up my car. Next day i picked up my car . The problem was there was a nut or bolt that was striped or something and they had todrill it out, so i was told. Over the next few months i noticed i was still burning or losing oil which made me believe i just threw away a lot of money. I usually dealt with Scott R. Whatever Scott said needed to be replaced i did it because i had trust in his diagnosis.. So today i came in for an oil change and they had a new guy taking Scott place, it seems he must have got demoted or punished for something. Well after a long wait the service guy came to me and said i needed brakes, ball joints, which i believe i had done in Feb Or December plus there was a stripped bolt on my gasket that the oil was leaking out of. Plus he had the xxxxx to try and charge me for that. I saw Scott and ask him to intervene but i guess he didn't want to get involved. I am not paying twice for the job that should have been done right by a CHAD in the first place. Bottom line, i didnt get my oil change, i didnt get an inspection because the service guy i would fail for ball joints, i didnt get my OIL problem solved but i did shell out over $300 for brakes. I am disappointed in the service needless to say by the kia service department. I use to have faith in the service department but i can see now that when your dealing with car company's, no matter if its salesman or the service department you're dealing with the lowest form of life on the planet. I know this will not get me any brownie points but there is no way in xxxx i am paying twice for the same job. You can call or e mail me. I use to be a supporter., right now KIA in my book sucks .
