Dealing with Lehigh Valley Hyundai Service and Hyundai Corporate was the most frustrating 3 months I have had to deal with. I originally took my Santa Fe in to have the engine looked at for burning excess Corporate was the most frustrating 3 months I have had to deal with. I originally took my Santa Fe in to have the engine looked at for burning excessive oil and 3rd set of cats being clogged after only being installed for 500 miles. After a month I was given the same answers I already knew. They wanted me to do an oil consumption test but I am unable to drive the car because the catalytic converters were clogged and putting carbon monoxide in the vehicle. I was told Lehigh Valley Hyundai would work with Hyundai corporate to come up with an alternative solution. 2 months went by no one had talked to Hyundai Corporate. I had to call my Hyundai Corporate myself to follow up and they knew nothing of the situation. After going back for 2 weeks with Hyundai Corporate they had no solutions and wanted me to buy a 4th set of catalytic converters ($2300) and do an oil consumption sets. Then I would need to buy another set of catalytic converters (another $2300) because these would most likely be clogged too after driving a 1000 miles for an oil consumption test. After the oil consumption test I would need to do a valve cleaning for $800 and drive another 1000 miles. I would need to buy a other set of catalytic converters ($2300) after that since they would be clogged also. All of this so maybe Hyundai Corporate would replace the known faulty Theta engine. After 3 months I gave up and still had to pay $160 to get a diagnosis on the engine I already knew. They wanted to charge me more but I fought it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership and Hyundai. More
