After purchasing a new 2003 Accord from LVH (in 2003) that had too many major problems to count, I decided to just cut my losses and trade it in for a new 2004 model. Naturally, I purchased the extended that had too many major problems to count, I decided to just cut my losses and trade it in for a new 2004 model. Naturally, I purchased the extended “bumper to bumper” warranty up to 100,000 miles to make sure the past issues would not be repeated at my expense. I was assured that I would be covered up to 100,000 miles on just about any issue that was not related to wear and tear. The warranty given to me by LVH was the “GOLD” package through Ryan Warranty out of Chicago, IL. The Navigation System broke down with 90,000 miles on the car. Lehigh Valley Honda would not fix the Navigation System since they claimed it was a repair not covered under the warranty. LVH quoted the cost of repairs at $4,000. I pleaded with the Service Rep, the Service Manager, and the Sales Manager to honor the warranty they sold me. They did not. Instead, after calling Honda Corporate, LVH offered me a “deal” of $2,000 to fix the unit. Six months later, I decided to go to another Honda dealership over an hour away with whom I had no experience with. This Honda dealership did not sell me the car, nor did it have a relationship with Ryan Warranty. However, 3 weeks later, my car’s Navigation System was completely fixed, COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. All I paid was the $100.00 deductible. The final costs submitted to Ryan Warranty by Honda were a small fraction of the $2,000 “deal” offer by LVH. I value honesty and integrity above all things. Therefore, I will never go near Lehigh Valley Honda again. My business is now with the dealership that treated me like “GOLD” Note: Overall, I was treated professionally. However, an individual at LVH, named in this report, commented “maybe we don’t need your business.” After 15 years, 4 cars, and many dollars spent on upgrades, service, and maintenance, LVH doesn’t have to worry about getting my business again. I have noticed a sharp decline in service quality over the past 2 years or so. More
DEFINATELY highly recommend for service. Sam did a terrific job, far above and beyond any service i had ever received anywhere else before. The friendliness and promptness to get the problem fixed mak terrific job, far above and beyond any service i had ever received anywhere else before. The friendliness and promptness to get the problem fixed makes "service" sound like nothing. The people at LV honda service did everything they could to help me, get my car repaired in a timely fashion, and put me first by helping out with costs. I would never go anywhere else to get my honda repaired. Thank you LV HONDA! More
