I am a first-time Honda owner (2013 Accord EX-L) and had bought an accessory (cargo net) online, realizing once I received it that it was not a simple do-it-yourself job. I called the dealership to ask how long something like that takes andhow much it would cost. I was told about an hour, for $95. When I called again later to set up the actual appointment, I was given the same information about time/cost. (It also showed up online with my appointment.) I waited at the dealership while the cargo net was installed. I waited and was charged for 2 hours (with no updates on the progress until it was 5 minutes from being done) because it was more involved than they thought it would be. I figured a dealer that does this kind of work would have a better handle on how much time the different accesories take to install. Luckily, I had a coupon as a new service customer. But it still cost way more than the net itself. Had I known it would be $190 (without the coupon) to have it installed, I might have done without it and returned the net. It makes me wonder if future service will be double the labor time that's told to me. More
Since November of 2011 I have been dealing with L.V.Honda. My Wife's Honda CRV goes there for every service it needs. Trevor Chappell has been an excellent service advisor. I have owned many cars and many of those have been Honda's and Acura's .... Not only is my favorite brand HONDA but Lehigh Valley HONDA is the only dealership I will work with. Every time I go there, Honda's and Acura's .... Not only is my favorite brand HONDA but Lehigh Valley HONDA is the only dealership I will work with. Took my 2006 CRV for inspection/emissions and CRV recall issue. Having just purchased this last year from LVHonda, I was hesitant to take my car to a dealer instead of my usualy local service mechanic. I' issue. I've had 2 oil changes at LVHyundai express service with great customer and today another example of great service given by Bill Nixon. Bill explained the whole inspection, advised on upcoming service recommendations at 60k. Bill shared the fact that he owned a CRV as well he made me feel comfortable about his knowledge of the car. The service department associates are always friendly, knowledgable and go out of their way to assist me with any problems I am having with my 2006 Honda Odyssey. I just wouldn't trust my Honda with anyon knowledgable and go out of their way to assist me with any problems I am having with my 2006 Honda Odyssey. I just wouldn't trust my Honda with anyone but the service department at LV Honda. When I bring my vehicle in for service, from the moment I walk through the door until the service is completed, I am impressed with the professional manner of all of the associates. I usually contact Trevor to schedule a service appointment or to ask him about a problem I may be having with my van. He will give me an idea of what the problem may be and will let me know it is an urgent matter or not and then schedule an appointment to look at it that fits with my schedule. If a problem arises during the service, it is explained to me in a way so that I can understand what needs to be done. There have been times that a problem was seen with my Odyssey and I would be told whether it was an urgent problem or if I could wait a bit before having the repair made. That is a major plus to me, I don't ever feel that I am being taken advantage of to have the extra work done right away. I have never had anything but excellent service from every associate at LV Honda! More
I scheduled my "A" Service for my car and a PA State Inspection online. I was on-time for my appointment and was greeted promptly and asked to wait inside and have some coffee and bagels. My car was ready within the time promised and I was given my first-time service and State Inspection for FREE! The only charge was for the PA Emissions Test of $44. More
