The nicest and most helpful people you'll meet We were wanting to trade my wife's rav4 in for a car because she didn't need the 4x4 anymore because she had to leave her job for medical reasons and We were wanting to trade my wife's rav4 in for a car because she didn't need the 4x4 anymore because she had to leave her job for medical reasons and wanted something better on gas. we went to legends Honda because that was what she wanted but knew it was pretty impossible because Olathe Toyota had taken us for granted and we were screwed. The 2 Honda employees ( Shawn Lemieux, John "jay" Nash ) we worked with went above and beyond to get her into a car. she is happier than I have seen her in a long time. We will forever refer everyone we know to legends Honda. More

I had a very good experience with my recent new car purchase. I was satisfied with my trade-in allowance toward a new CR-V. In fact, after many hours conducting automotive and dealer research, I decide purchase. I was satisfied with my trade-in allowance toward a new CR-V. In fact, after many hours conducting automotive and dealer research, I decided I wanted a new CR-V one evening and by noon the next day, I had bought a new one. Comparing my local dealers, Legends Honda has the highest rate of satisfaction among customers. (Of course, reviews are only from those few customers who bother to post.) The deal was made over the internet with general manager, Duce Lett and the sale was finalized with internet salesman, Paul Meeks. The only issue I have had, was that the dealer installed wheel locks on the car, six months ago when they received the car, but failed to return the original lug nuts that came off the wheels. When I found the empty package in the glove box, I contacted Paul Meeks. He and Chevis Reid remedied this immediately by providing me with 4 lug nuts (not brand new ones though, but I can live with that.) In a recent Gallup poll of Honesty and Ethics in Professions, Car Salespeople got a low rating of 9 out of 100, just between Members of Congress 8 out of 100 and State Officeholders 14 out of 100. If a car buyer has done his homework and knows what he wants, the buyer will definitely have the edge. Did Legends Honda make money on my sale – of course it did. That’s what any business must do to be successful. But I went in knowing what my car was worth, what their car was worth, including dealer incentives and accessories and what I should expect to pay. We quickly came to an agreement. I have discovered, through research that anyone can conduct on the internet, that Legends Honda prices on accessories are generally more expensive than other Honda dealers in the area and a lot more expensive than one can purchase genuine Honda parts and accessories on the internet. I have ordered and installed several accessories for my new CR-V from the internet. An example of Legends' inflated prices are the above mentioned wheel locks. Online, from the manufacturer, the exact set (4) of Honda wheel locks sells for $9.18 - $15.85. Legends Honda sells them for $56.00 uninstalled or $101.40 installed (which I was required to pay because they added them to the car.) Does it really cost the company $10.00 labor to put in a set of floor mats? Additionally, I paid $82.10 (including shipping) for my genuine Honda CR-V cargo tray and just set it down in the back, but the exact tray and installation at Legends Honda costs $124.50. I paid $69.05 for a set of four splashguards and installed them myself in 20 minutes with a screwdriver, Legends' installed price is $192.20. So unless Legends Honda will lower their prices to even meet other local Honda dealers accessory prices, I won't consider buying an accessory there. Perhaps I will visit Legends Honda again in two years to trade this vehicle in for another new one, but get my accessories elsewhere! (But time will tell, this is my first Honda.) More
I needed to have my Civic serviced, being relatively new to the area, I asked around at work, Cerner, and found that Legend's Honda had a very high recommendation. I called the morning I wanted to drop my c to the area, I asked around at work, Cerner, and found that Legend's Honda had a very high recommendation. I called the morning I wanted to drop my car off, and spoke to Tim who set me up with a loaner vehicle that I could use while my car was being serviced. With my job, I had to travel out of town and felt bad about keeping the loaner while not using it, so I spoke to Tim again, and he offered to have someone meet me at the airport when I returned to pickup my car. When I returned, Aaron met me at the airport and drove me to the service center where Scott was waiting to have me sign the paperwork and hand over the keys. I had a question a few days later about something and spoke with Scott again who dispatched Sean to pick up my car to check out my question while it was at my work and drop off a loaner for me to get back home. That afternoon, they called and said my car was ready, where Tim was waiting for my arrival to drop off the loaner and pickup my car. I was not expecting such great customer service, and have shared my experiences with my friends, neighbors and peers\coworkers. They are all impressed, one of them has a newer car from another dealer\brand and is actually annoyed that his dealer isn't remotely as courteous. More

John is an awesome sales rep. He has a great attitude, is very friendly, and makes sure his customers are taken care of. He really helped make my experience as painless and easy as possible. John was ev is very friendly, and makes sure his customers are taken care of. He really helped make my experience as painless and easy as possible. John was even answering questions before I could ask them! Scott went out of his way to make sure I was getting the best financing options available and made the trade/ buying process very easy. I did my homework before I made the drive up to Kansas City from Wichita, and I was in and out in just about 2 hours with the exact vehicle I had been looking for at a very fair price! This is my first dealership car-purchase experience. Before I found the car I was looking for at Legends, I had visited a few other places which did not have the same professionalism or comfortable and friendly environment I encountered at Legends Honda. Even though I made my purchase with John and Scott, I'm sure I would have been treated the same by any other salesman or financing manager at Legends Honda. All the employees I spoke with were professional, approachable, and very friendly. More

Called and talked to Wally Haware, salesman about a used 2012 GMC pickup truck that they had on the internet. We live about 60 miles away from dealership, went the next evening to look at truck, and Wally desc 2012 GMC pickup truck that they had on the internet. We live about 60 miles away from dealership, went the next evening to look at truck, and Wally described the truck as PERFECT in everyway.with 18000 miles on it.When we arrived at the dealership it was about dark,I breifly looked the truck over, inside and out and it looked real good. Test drove it,Wally riding along, and I ask him how they aquired the truck. He (Wally) told me that a yong man had it that could not afford it,and he traded in for a cheaper auto. This was a lie,the truck was a fleet truck out of Nebraska, which was still ok withe me, but Wally wasnt honest. I also made the mistake of purchasing the LUX care treatment for vehicles, which is suppose to be a treatment for the exterior and interior of the vehicle. The truck had some mineor door damage that they didnt tell me about until after I washed it,I called them to make an appointment to repair the truck at their cost, and they did so.the same time they put the protective treatment on which is something you should not do until the paint has a chance to dry.The treatment cost me about 700.00 at the time I purchased it, and it looked like they may have put some scotch gaurd on the seats, and maybe gave it a wax job.I picked the truck up 2 days later and it looked terrible. They done a half xxx job, when I got it home had to finish and redo what they had done. BOTTOM LINE: Do not trust this dealer! More
We explained to the Gen. Sales Manager - Shane that we needed a good mileage yet roomy car and that we had to stay very close to the monthly payment that we already had. He said he would personally help u needed a good mileage yet roomy car and that we had to stay very close to the monthly payment that we already had. He said he would personally help us or if he couldn't his top salesman, Mike Lesher would be the one helping us. We arrived earlier than we told them we would be there, like about 4 hours, they were expecting us and took all our information, got us approved and then showed us the options that we had to be able to stay with in our budget. It is a Toyota Matrix, very roomy, rated 34 mpg, it is 4 years newer than our trade in and bout 1/3 the miles. We were treated like royalty. Mike bought us drinks, water and coke, and then gave us lunch from what was just delivered for the crew working on Saturday. They detailed the car, found a license plate front holder that was not on it, changed over the plates while we were finishing up the paper work. We feel that we were treated fairly, quickly and with a lot of professionalism. We are returning customers because just a little over a year ago we bought the Honda Pilot that we just traded in. We would not have returned this time if we had not been treated so well the first time. Very impressive!! More
