Was Disappointed I recently leased a Honda Pilot and was told the vehicle had Satellite Radio, and was ready to tow a trailer. I was also told that due to me being act I recently leased a Honda Pilot and was told the vehicle had Satellite Radio, and was ready to tow a trailer. I was also told that due to me being active duty in the Army that I was tax exempt. None of these things were true. After I left with the vehicle to the east coast for a long vacation I called Sirius/XM to transfer my account but it could not be done because the vehicle, though it was promised to have satellite capability, did not. Then as I left I looked for the wire plug to plug in my trailer lights. That to was non existent. I had to buy a harness for an additional $87. Then the shocker. As the vehicle's tag was close to expiring we called Legends Honda to get the new tag and registration. They said we had to pay the sales tax. I explained that I was military and they seemed confused. I told them in the state of Kansas that active duty military was exempt from paying property tax on vehicles. They still seemed confused and had to call a manager to verify. Well, after a long wait they came back only to tell me that indeed the tax was exempt, but only on bought cars, not leased ones. The salesman, who by the way was fired shortly after I leased this vehicle, did not say that and ensured me that I would be exempt on the property tax. The sales tax was over $1500 that I could not just get at a moments notice. Legends has refused to make the corrections, nor do they want to acknowledge my problem. I was promised a resolve, but have not heard back from anyone at the dealership. Needless to say, I will not be a returning customer. And I do not recommend this dealership to any military or civilian persons looking for a new car to buy or lease. More
