The Lawton Kia service department is typical for a dealership with attempts to upsell routine service with absolutely unnecessary items like air filters at 10k miles or fuel additives. I wish just onc dealership with attempts to upsell routine service with absolutely unnecessary items like air filters at 10k miles or fuel additives. I wish just once I could go in and get what I ask for…routine service without going through the sales pitch every time. This time Deborah argued with me about tire rotation not being needed. I always rotate my tires whether needed or not at the recommended mileage. That’s why you do it to keep it from being needed. I just let her win instead of causing a scene in front of the other customers, but it was inappropriate of her and did not save me a dime. Just saved the service tech time to rush through the service appointment. Just provide the service I ask for when it’s routine maintenance, please. More
