Josh was my salesman and was extremely quick to push paperwork. I didn't mind that. I already knew what I wanted and don't like wasting time anyway. I was given a day to come back in and have the car detailed since I had come pretty late the first day and the detailer was out already. I returned to have the car detailed (only detailed) and was taken to an office to sign a contract that I was supposed to have more time to go over. They were trying to "hurry up and get things closed before the end of the month so Josh could have the sale for January". I got the car back, and the detailing wasn't great. But again, I didn't really mind. It was a new car. I can go in and wipe it down myself. Josh told me they couldn't find my spare key and that he'd have to have someone else take a look. They still couldn't find a key for me, so Josh told me they would get one made and then he'd call me when I could come to pick it up. Weeks pass and I still had heard nothing from him at all. I called to speak with him and he told me he was just about to order the key.... weeks later. More time passes and I still hadn't heard from Josh. I called and asked to speak to a manager multiple times about the situation and was put on hold then connected to Josh, not a manager, and given excuses each time. Josh told me that he had been waiting on his manager's approval to order the key the whole time. Where is the manager? Why can I not speak to him? Is my situation too petty for him to waste his time on me? Why do I keep getting connected back to the man who is obviously not doing what he should be? No bothered to call me with an update at any point throughout the entire process. I was just left clueless as to what was going on. You would think that after someone makes such a large purchase (for the second time) at your place of business, someone would at least have the courtesy to give you a phone call. I wouldn't have been upset about waiting had someone actually picked up the phone and given me an update. FOUR MONTHS after purchasing the vehicle, Josh TEXTED me to tell me he had the key cut and ready for me. I don't know if it really was the manager's fault or the salesman's fault to begin with, but the situation was handled extremely poorly. I can say that I spoke to a man in the parts department, whose name I'm unsure of, who was very kind and professional. When he heard about the situation, he apologized and asked what he could do for me, even though it wasn't his problem. That is exactly what the MANAGER should have done. The men in the service department are always extremely helpful and professional. The salesmen could learn from them. More

General maintenance Went in for some general maintenance (oil change and inspection) and was quickly brought into the garage bay. Technicians were quick yet thorough. The inspection found that fuel system was due for cleaning. They staff just recommended the cleaning and did not push the subject. Waiting area is nice , clean and stocked with water and little munchies. More

I did some research and found someone could do the exact same repair for MUCH less. I lost some confidence in Lawton Kia during that event. The next time I visited I gave them another chance, and this time the rates were fair. However, after being told that the repair would take 1 hour, 1.5 hours went bye before they notified me that the repair would take longer. Unfortunately, both of these experiences have put this dealership in a poor light for me. More
