We had our first oil changed after buying a new Kia Sportage, four months ago, no problem, but they said our alignment was out, BS, went there yesterday to get oil changed for the second time not to vo Sportage, four months ago, no problem, but they said our alignment was out, BS, went there yesterday to get oil changed for the second time not to void the warranty and they said our alignment was out again., we had only 8,000 miles and drive under normal conditions, either have Kia recall the 2022 or their just trying to scam their customers, they also wanted to charge us $29.00 to have our battery cables cleaned, I’ve been a mechanic for over 40 years, I checked the battery cables, they are in excellent condition. Service advisor Barbara told us the car would be ready Monday evening even though the car part wasn’t in at 230 pm. Appointment was initially booked for a service and complaint of engine noise. Later called back to explain that the engine was consuming large amounts of oil with no evidence of leak. Also informed se complaint of engine noise. Later called back to explain that the engine was consuming large amounts of oil with no evidence of leak. Also informed service writer that the fog lights had not been connected following A/C repairs at previous Appointment. A note was even left in the drop box with the keys explaining these issues. We were contacted and told they found no problem with the engine and topped off the oil. We were sent an estimate for a list of items needing "immediate attention" which included a refrigerant service! The A/C was just done 6 weeks ago! They had also neglected to do the scheduled PM service or fix the fog lights. They said they would do both things immediately. When the vehicle was picked up we realized after leaving the dealership that the fog lights STILL had not been connected. Poor service. Too concerned about making money on unnecessary service items to actually take care of customer concerns or complete work properly. More
