Sent the wrong part then refused to issue a refund This dealership accepted $225 from me online for a seat belt assembly for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. When I received the part it was incorrect. This dealership accepted $225 from me online for a seat belt assembly for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. When I received the part it was incorrect. When I contacted them they claimed I didn't enter a VIN number (though that didn't prevent the online sale from going through) and said they wouldn't issue a credit unless the part was returned. I shipped the part back (again, at my expense) and they emailed me 9 minutes after they received it to say they wouldn't give me my money back because it was shipping in a different box!!!! Of COURSE it was in a different box. With COVID, I throw all boxes away outside and bring the contents in my home. So now I'm out over $225, am stuck with the wrong seat belt assembly and they've pocketed my money. I've never HEARD of such brazen criminality! This dealership should be avoided at ALL COSTS! More
