The team on Coors are hands down the best in the city. I have two other cars from other dealers and have not been as happy as I am with my Hyundai on Coors service team. Great staff! Easy to schedule a service appointment. I was surprised when it took nearly four hours for an oil change and one additional suggested service. Adding on one additional service, I anticipated maybe another 30 minutes. I didn’t want the car washed but believe it was placed in the queue which probably added more wait time. More
After researching Hyundai Palisades and seeing that the Calligraphy Edition we were interested in was being delivered to Larry H. When the car arrived in Albuquerque, we made an appointment on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 11:30, to take delivery. We arrived a little early with our Cashier’s check in hand for the full balance. My husband and I work full time, so lunch time was a free opportunity to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived, we were told to sit in the showroom and wait. We waited almost 2 hours, and our lunch break was long gone. At 1:00 PM, I had to collect my Lexus car keys and have a work meeting sitting in my car until my phone battery ran down. At 2:00 I went into the Finance office where we were bullied into signing a bunch of papers with false statements or statements that were no longer true (overcome by events). It appeared the finance representative hadn’t read the material himself. When I pointed out that the statements weren’t true, I was told I could not make any marks or indication on the papers that the statements weren’t valid and to sign anyway so we could get out of the dealership. While sitting in the dealership, we were not given the keys to the new car to inspect it, but I was required to sign that I had. I was not given the paperwork to read while I sat for hours doing nothing. We finally left the dealership at 2:45. This is the 10th new car we have taken delivery on in our lives. No prior dealer experience prepared us for the extremely poor treatment we had at Larry H. Miller Hyundai. In hindsight, we should have collected our Lexus car keys and walked out --- but we didn’t realize we needed a strategy going in. We have never purchased any of the pricey products offered in the finance office. We informed the finance rep that would be the case yesterday. Based on that, our poor treatment may have been a result. When we conveyed dismay for having to wait so long, we were informed other customers wait far longer on average! Really? How could I recommend this dealership even to my worst enemy? The service and effort are dismal. The new car buying experience is horrible. We left a message for Ryan Newhall, General Manager, to call us back regarding our horrible treatment, but he has not yet responded. We are waiting… More
Service was fast and went as expected. The wait room was comfortable with accessible outlets. Took a long time to get the appointment though, so I was well over my mileage on my oil.
