When we showed up we had an idea on what we wanted. They didn't have exactly what we wanted on their lot, but our salesman Mark Link went above and beyond and searched for the perfect Dodge Dart for us. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark Link as a salesman to anyone looking for a new car. His attitude was great and was friendly and not pushy. Thanks Mark. More
Your service department is fantastic. I have been coming in for many years and every time I come in, all your service writers make me feel so welcome. They all know me and make me feel like a valued custom in for many years and every time I come in, all your service writers make me feel so welcome. They all know me and make me feel like a valued customer. This service call didn't cost me a thing as it was a leaky hose from a prior service call. Everyone was so nice to me. Your service department motivates me to continue to be a sales customer as well. I also tell everyone how great you all are. Thanks! More

I just purchased my second car from LHM Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, Boise. With all the different dealerships to choose from, the team at LHM makes the decision to work with them incredibly easy. No one l Dodge Ram, Boise. With all the different dealerships to choose from, the team at LHM makes the decision to work with them incredibly easy. No one likes to feel like they are being "sold to", and the LHM team is more like a trusted adviser rather than a sales team. Gavin is very authentic and genuine and really understands the value of communication and listening to the customer. People don't buy cars because they want a car, they buy a car because they need to get from point A to point B. Gavin takes the extra step to find out where you are going, why you are going, and asks what's most important to you during your ride to and from your destination. After listening to my answers, I felt like the Chrysler 200 was hand picked and customized personally for me. I didn't have any hesitation and all my questions/concerns were addressed during the process so that when it came to making my final decision and signing the papers, it seemed like a mere formality since I was positive this was the best car for me and my needs. I also appreciated Mike Peko being involved through the process. He was very visible and accessible to the LHM team and it was very calm and non-chaotic, unlike other dealerships I have been to. I am thrilled to talk to my friends and family about my experience at LHM and the honest relationship that has been built over the years. Thanks for such an easy process and exciting purchase :-) Thanks! Amanda More
My wife and I visited the dealership looking at a 2013 Ram 2500 Longhorn Mega Cab. The truck that was and still is advertised on the website for as low as 46,691. We were able to take the truck that was Ram 2500 Longhorn Mega Cab. The truck that was and still is advertised on the website for as low as 46,691. We were able to take the truck that was in the advertisement for a test drive with Mike Gillihan. During the test drive we told Mike that we liked the truck and had a check ready to buy it as advertised. Mike went in with the manager for quite some time and eventually came out and told Sharon and I that we did not qualify for all of the discounts because we didn't have a trade in, were not returning a lease vehicle, etc. He said the lowest they could get the price down to was 52,791 (which included all fees). We thanked Mike for his time and told him we did not want to go over 50K. As we were walking to our car we had another salesman approach us and ask if we would be willing to do 51.5K with a years worth of maintenance included. At that time we indicated we would do 51K. We received a couple of more calls from Chris that night stating that he couldn't get to that amount. The next morning Mike Peko called and asked me if he was able to do 52K out the door would we come in and make the sale. We said yes because the truck is what we were looking for. Once we arrived at the dealership anticipating just signing paper work and turning over a check Mike Peko informed us that we HAD to use their financing. We told him that everyone that we dealt with the day before knew that we had a check in our pocket and were not interested in their financing (Mike Gillihan acknowledged this while sitting there with us again). He apologized and said they would NOT be able to live up to the deal that was made without their financing. Any other time I would have been willing to write a check for the 791 dollars that was short. However I was raised and fully expect when you make a deal with someone for a certain price you do NOT change the rules or add more stipulations into the purchase. More
I bought my truck from Tom Needham and every time I go to get an oil change or what ever the service crew is so good and clear about what I need. Tom comes through the waiting room asks how things are going, get an oil change or what ever the service crew is so good and clear about what I need. Tom comes through the waiting room asks how things are going, remembers something from our last conversation that really makes me feel at home with LHM Boise. Patience always knows my name and it is so easy to go get my car wash ticket its crazy. More

I was recently in the market for a car and so contacted the LHM dealership. I was put in touch with Drew Shidaker. Drew was very friendly and professional. He listened to my car wants and needs and discuss the LHM dealership. I was put in touch with Drew Shidaker. Drew was very friendly and professional. He listened to my car wants and needs and discussed the pros & cons of buying vs leasing. I originally planned to lease, but Drew found better options in buying a year old car. I appreciated Drew's courtesy and the time he took to research my best options. He answered my questions without hesitation and info he did not know, he was happy to find out on my behalf. I am very pleased with the service I have received thus far from this dealership and would be happy to recommend both Drew and the dealership to others. More

There were dents and deep paint chips all over the left side of the car, on the roof, and on the trunk, and the driver's side window was broken out. Geico uses Larry Miller as a preferred shop, so I had it taken there for repairs. Repairs took a week and a half to complete. Fine, sure. When I went to pick up my car 6/3/13, I discovered that the shop office is uncomfortable and full of cigarette smoke. The people working in the front office seem bothered and inconvenienced by customers interrupting whatever it is they were doing -- sorry, just wanted to give you people some money, didn't mean to interfere. When I went to turn on the car after paying my deductible and getting the key back, the battery was dead. A shop fellow brought out a jump box and said that it'd started fine for them while they worked on it, and maybe they ran it down while they were working on the doors and the trunk, when the interior light came on. (This dismissive explanation becomes important later.) I adjusted all the mirrors and whatnot, reset my radio, and discovered that my AC had been turned on. The shop couldn't have known that -- and I don't blame them for -- there's a leak in the compressor, so I'd been keeping the AC off to conserve freon until I could get it fixed. They didn't know, but still: my AC doesn't blow even a little cold any more. I find it unprofessional to turn on a customer's AC in the shop. If it's off, leave it off. I'm sorry it's hot out -- but because somebody thought they'd use my AC to cool off while they worked, I'm going to suffer until I can get the compressor fixed. Back to the battery: I drove long enough to charge it, then stopped ... it wouldn't charge again. A jump and a battery check at a different shop later, I discovered that the battery had started leaking acid and needed to be replaced. This isn't an old battery at all! And when I left it with them, it was fine. I don't know how it got broken, only that it was intact when I had the car delivered -- I've never even needed a jump on this battery before this. Not a scrap of trouble. The body work that they'd been paid to do was shoddy at best. Dents and paint chips were still obvious. They tried to claim it was the clear coat, but nope. I shouldn't see any evidence of rocks once the car is refinished. Worse, they left a pair of vice grips under the trunk lid, then slammed the lid on them. It doesn't latch correctly and has a dent on the underside as a result. They didn't clean off all the paint marker, didn't clean off the steering wheel, gearshift, or e-brake. Little things? Sure, but they are the hallmark of a good body shop, one that takes pride in its work and takes care of all the details. Larry Miller Collision Center is not a good body shop. I took it back to the Collision Center the next day, 6/4/13, after I'd talked to Geico about how to remedy the issue. The supervisor of the adjusters met me there, and I discovered that they've had service quality issues with this shop for quite a while. Geico even has a Quality Assurance Plan in place to help them improve their service; clearly, my car didn't get quality assurance. I wasn't even greeted when I came into the office when I came back to address the poor service issues. Several employees discussed me while I was standing right there instead of saying hello and talking directly TO me. "Lindsay Woodcock is here, what do you want me to do with her?" "Brad should be here soon, just wait." Incredibly rude. And while discussing the battery issue with the adjuster, the shop manager, and the man who'd jumped it off the day before, I discovered that the manager and the employee had both lied to me the day before when they said it started fine for them!! When they explained the situation to the insurance adjuster, they said that when they went to bring it in, it wouldn't start. They jumped it, then it had some trouble while it was in the bay. Then it started again after a couple of jumps, so they shrugged and called it fine. They didn't bother to look at the battery -- fine, they were doing body work, not battery work, but it seems like a responsible person would have looked at it to let the owner know what was up. What's worse, they didn't bother to tell me about it when I picked up the car, either before I put the keys in or after, when I discovered a problem! That would have been the perfect time to let me know something was up and maybe even sell me a battery. If they had been up-front and honest, I might have had them fix it. Instead, they have lost my business forever. When I brought up these complaints, the Larry Miller folks became defensive and angry, tried to dismiss my issues, and generally treated me like a crazy, "typical" woman, out to get something for nothing and making a big deal about "tiny little issues" that wouldn't bother someone else. Fortunately, my Geico adjuster was there and was able to back me up. I'm disgusted at the poor quality of the work, the terrible customer service, and the behavior of the employees. They made it clear that they are making it right not because they want to or think that they made a mistake but because my (male) Geico adjuster was on hand to back up my claim. I won't do business with any Larry Miller affiliate ever again. I won't purchase a car there, nor will I allow my car to have work done there, even if the shop is a Geico preferred shop. I'll buy and fix cars from and with a company that cares about my business, works with integrity, and treats me like a human being. More
I purchased a car. I was told the car had been looked through and in good condition. During the test drive the back door look went up and down three time. The sales me told me that was normal for the m through and in good condition. During the test drive the back door look went up and down three time. The sales me told me that was normal for the make of the car. Took the car back to the shop after two days. The "normal was going to cost 500 dollars to repair. They agreed to waive they cost of the work if I purchased the part...after talking to the sales manager...as the sales person would not return my call about the "normal" sound. The service department told me that they would order the part and call me. I have called them three time and the part has not come in...odd given it was from the dealership across the street. My family has purchased over twenty cars from Larry Miller....Never again, I purchased three myself. Things have changed since Larry died. Went from good to crap. More
