Small example: when the requested car wash was completed the LARRY MILLER license frame was damaged. BRIAN immediately replaced with a new one without having to be asked!! I am positive you do not "do the right thing." That is the the most positive thing I can say. Their salesman sold us a 2015 Chrystler 200, his fellow salesman's own personal car! He promised it was in perfect condition, but that they were selling it "as is" because they did not have time to make it certified. So we bought all the extra service protection from them. We trusted them. We trusted that the extended warranty we purchased from them was legitimate. I think it was at the second or third oil change that I asked about the issues with the car lurching and halting during acceleration. The oil change service people could not help us with that problem, but they did want to sell us a new set of 4 tires for a ridiculously high price. So we had the tires checked at a tire store, the salesman said the tires were fine. They charged over $200 the first time we had them service the transmission issues, about 6 weeks after I had requested it because the problem only got worse. Then it began having problems again just a few days after picking it up. Service center says, "it is normal for that type of car." And supposedly the $200 is a deductible for our "extended warranty insurance", but according to the insurance, they never reported anything to them about the car. Then about two months later, they charged us over $300 when we had electrical and transmission issues again! And of course it was dirtier than when we brought it in, and of course it was nearly out of gas! This was all in the FIRST YEAR after purchasing the vehicle!!! Idaho needs a better lemon law to protect unsuspecting, trusting people from their fleecings. I am so dusgusted with Larry H Miller dealership and service. My husband and I communicate with many people in the community. We have nothing positive to say to them about the service we have received. We wish we had never trusted Larry H. Miller. More
Poor communications on recall Fiat Chrysler sent a recall notice regarding my son's 2005 Jeep Liberty (something on the steering/lower bars etc) had to be somewhat important issue Fiat Chrysler sent a recall notice regarding my son's 2005 Jeep Liberty (something on the steering/lower bars etc) had to be somewhat important issue since the car is 13 years old.. Called LHM Jeep told them I received a recall gave them the recall number. Got first available appointment-a 7:30 appointment didn't get any insight from LHM on the recall. I arrived at my appointed time dropped off the car I asked how long it would take for the repair -the service advisor said that it be in the afternoon. I went inside the lobby and waited to catch a ride with the courtesy shuttlebus. 90 minutes later -shuttlebus driver comes into the lobby (back from his previous run) has 3 open spots for 6 people who are in the lobby waiting for a ride. He asks for volunteers to wait for the next shuttle bus. I volunteer.....10 minutes later get a call from LHM telling by car is ready- you think this would be good news.....it isn't. They inspected my son's Jeep indeed it is need of the replacement part but my appointment was only for inspection to determine that I needed the part - the part has been ordered (probably on back order) and we will have to do this all again. I understand the need for inspection prior to replacement I just wish LHM Jeep was a little more informative with the process. More
