I took my 2016 Ram in for a transmission issue the end of June. I got it back August 9th. They did $5900 worth of work but it didn't fix the issue. Then they had to open an engineering ticket with Mopar. Th June. I got it back August 9th. They did $5900 worth of work but it didn't fix the issue. Then they had to open an engineering ticket with Mopar. They couldn't figure it out so they said "put in a new transmission". At the time we were in Hawaii and were told $18,200! I told the dealer do NOT do anything until we get back. We met with our advisor & the service manager and agreed upon $11,600. My wife went to pick up the truck on Friday and suddenly the total is $12,500. My major issue is trust. You lied to us. Also, why did this happen to a 3/4 ton turbo diesel truck with 82,000 miles. They don't know. And they can't say it won't happen again. More
Scheduled an appt, waited 3 weeks, dropped the truck off Friday. Was called one week later regarding the service. They asked about the thermostat listed on their service sheet. Informed them I didn’t ha Friday. Was called one week later regarding the service. They asked about the thermostat listed on their service sheet. Informed them I didn’t have any thermostat codes reported and that one of their service advisors who checked in the vehicle reported a code. I only reported the vehicle having difficulty shifting from Park to Drive. Was told when I picked it up that they didn’t get to it. Advisor very apologetic and nervous. Stopped to get fuel 5 min after picking it up and checked oil. Oil is black, fluids not topped off, tires not rotated. The truck is giving notification that the fuel filter needs replaced. Now driving back up the ranch and the truck is having issues. Called and the service advisor multiple times, left messages for service manager. More
