Compilation of recent bad experiences Within the last year we have had several things go wrong and went to them for service or parts: First, the radiator needed to be replaced. They forg Within the last year we have had several things go wrong and went to them for service or parts: First, the radiator needed to be replaced. They forgot to clamp one of the hoses. It took me a day or two to figure out why I kept loosing radiator fluid. Had to take it back to get the hose clamped. Second, we had the transmission replaced. I supposedly purchased a new transmission. What I got was new guts in my existing transmission. Just recently (6 months after it was "fixed") it began leaking fluid. We just took it in yesterday and had it repaired - hopefully it will go longer than 6 months before it starts leaking again. Third, I ordered the locking clip for positioning the headrest height. I was told I would be called when the part came in. A week after they said it would be here I called them. It was in and they apologized for not calling me. It was the wrong part. Again they said they would call when the new part came in. I mentioned I would be out of town but to call anyway. Again they didn't. Once again after a long wait I called. The part was in and it was the correct part this time. Over all I am very disappointed by my recent dealings with this dealership. Prior to the last year I would have given them top ratings in every are. Not anymore. My recent dealings have revealed problems in multiple areas (Service and Parts). In the future I will consider a different dealer. I no longer trust my vehicle with these guys. More
Riverdale Store is the one to shop I had previously been to the Bountiful sales lot and had a very bad experience. I will never go back to that lot. There was one sales associate that was very rude, told that we were not buying that car and he would not give us the keys to our current car so we could leave. kept hounding us. Was leary about going to the Riverdale store, however I did and a total different experience. Our salesman was a sweetheart, the financial staff was helpful. They took good care of me. More
Management Rudeness I brought my car in to be appraised while I was looking at a used Chevrolet Silverado. My salesman Ty was a good guy and very friendly. After test driving the truck I was pleased and ready to negotiate a purchase. The clean trade in value of my car was $14,700 and I had already been offered $13,200 by another dealership. The first offer for my car was $13,000 which was a decent offer and didn't offend me. LHM has always been good to me in the past with trades so I asked for $13,500 which I believed was a fair bargain. Well instead of countering or negotiating, the salesperson Jorge proceeded to give me a rude tone and say "Absolutly no way. I won't." He then gave me my keys back to go elsewhere and walked off like a teenage girl. There's a serious lapse in customer service with this store. It's hit and miss. But it looks like I'll be purchasing from LHM Bountiful. Trust me, customer service is worth a 15 minute drive. More
