I arrived at 9 a.m. for a pre-set appointment with Jessica, whom I believe was the last of three people that contacted me. We actually began with paper work around 11:15, and completed it all within an hour. I had previously been offered a loaner vehicle to get lunch, go visiting or whatever, but I live in Decatur, and I saw no reason that I should go home. Boy, was I wrong! Jessica told me that the car had recently be traded in, and she wanted the service department to go over the vehicle, and also get it cleaned. That would have been fine, however, it took them until a few minutes before 4 p.m. to deliver the vehicle to me. I have no idea what was wrong in the service department, but there must have been some kind of problem. From past personal history, I know it should not take some 4+ hours to clean and service a vehicle. Needless to say, that didn't make me happy. I am a diabetic, and the only kind of refreshment they had that I could avail myself of was popcorn, and bottled water. I will be happy to recommend this dealership but not the service department. The sales person was very nice after I had to look her up by paging her, and she was very attentive after I had her paged. Yet there was an interval of several hours that I never even saw her. Rodney was a great salesman and person. He was not pushy or aggressive. He simply showed us the car, gave us the facts, and was real.
