I had previously purchased a used vehicle for my son back in June 2011, and that was my first experience with Steve Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep. At that time, I dealt with the same two employees, Winston Ma in June 2011, and that was my first experience with Steve Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep. At that time, I dealt with the same two employees, Winston Marshall and Mike ?, whom I also dealt with today. The experience was great, and I told Winston that I would return when I was ready to purchase a new vehicle for myself. That time came today... I returned to this dealership because of the excellent service, good deal, and quick customer service I received on that day in June. All the times I have purchased vehicles in the past, and being a single female, I have never walked away from having made a purchase in which I felt good about the experience until back in June and again today. Thanks to both of these men for their professionalism, yet friendliness and comfortability, their "no nonsense" attitude, and their desire to make sure I was happy with my vehicle and the overall experience. I've heard raves about Landers all through my small town, so we decided to give them a shot! Unfortunately, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! First of all, we decided to get a jump start on the process by fillin so we decided to give them a shot! Unfortunately, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! First of all, we decided to get a jump start on the process by filling out an application online! We did this in hopes that it would limit the time at the dealership, considering we were almost 55 miles away. That was NOT the case! We arrived at the dealership a little before 11 am and was not totally taken care of until almost 7 pm!!!!! It was made known two days prior that my significant other did not have a valid drivers license and to our understanding it was not necessary because the vehicle was solely for me! Well David totally ignored that issue and placed his name only on the paper work. And failed to mention all of this until almost 7. He then proceeded to presuade us to just sign the paperwork and if something happens or we change our mind then we could just call and let him know. So after waiting almost eight hours and being absolutely frustrated we did. Well after finding out my significant other couldn't get a valid license no sooner than 30 days, I emailed David and requested the title back for the trade in and he refused. Oh, I forgot the best part.... since my significant other does not have a valid license, we couldnt leave with the new car! More
