Started out good ended bed I found a truck on the internet at Landers. My inquiry brought an immediate response from Charlie who was very nice. I asked if there was any damage to the truck and was told that there was no damage. We were advised to place a deposit for them to hold it until we arrived the following day. After an 8 hour drive, we went to the dealership and found that the front bumper had many dings from rocks and a scratch on one door. Had we known, we would have gone somewhere else since we had another option. They were quick to reduce the price due to the damage and repair the scratch. That's the good part. We were told that the deposit would be applied to the truck but during the closing I forgot to look for it. On the drive home I discovered that our deposit was left off. No problem I'll just call and get a refund. After 4 non returned calls to the finance department I called our sales person "Ill get them to call", still waiting for a call but would rather get our deposit. More

They badgered me into buying a car I didn't want I came in just for some information and to get some general questions answered about a car I was interested in. After they basically told me I wouldn't be able to get it for the kind of payments I could afford, I would have been happy to just say "oh well" and leave. But no. They were intent on me leaving that place with a new vehicle THAT DAY. Even after telling them many times that I just needed to walk away, they ended up making me an offer they knew I couldn't refuse on a different car I would have to buy SIGHT UNSEEN. It wasn't even on the lot, so I couldn't even test drive it. I know I'm a sucker, I'm just angry that I was put in that position in the first place. I suppose it's really my own fault for thinking such a huge car selling juggernaut would really care about my actual satisfaction. Bottom line, if you are like me and are likely to crack under high pressure sales practices, avoid this place. I am now left with a car I don't like and a bad taste in my mouth. I will say, my sales guy was nice and quite helpful, and I appreciated his willingness to work with me. But once management got involved, I was basically convinced I'd be an idiot to not take the deal they were offering me. Now I feel like an idiot for accepting it. More
