Question the Maintenance Contract I was told that our Maintence Contract was only good for 3 years, and has expired. When I purchased the car, I was told it was good for 6 years or 50 I was told that our Maintence Contract was only good for 3 years, and has expired. When I purchased the car, I was told it was good for 6 years or 50,000 miles. When did this policy change? I'm seriously considering switching to Ford, their C Max model. Service manager denied the window repair and claimed it was out of service warranty period, when he promise to fix the problem on the last visit. He said he did not remember ??? WHAT A BIG LIER, I HOPE HE GOES TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY. How can someone even sleep at night knowing they ripped off a customer. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP !!!! More

Lancaster Toyota Service Center is the best in the area I just went over 500,000 miles on my 2005 Prius that I bought at Lancaster Toyota in Lancaster, PA. I attribute my many miles to God and my Service T I just went over 500,000 miles on my 2005 Prius that I bought at Lancaster Toyota in Lancaster, PA. I attribute my many miles to God and my Service Team at Lancaster Toyota, where All my work has been done. Starting with the Manager Steve Shepos, and his assistant Steve Plank, and the Service Team I have worked with of Travis Yorty and Miguel Delgado, I have had nothing but a beautiful experience. Steve just had my car reconditioned and it looks like new, and ready for another half million. They constantly have gone out of their way to help me with any major repairs, of which there have only been a few. My motto has always been, if it ain't broke don't fix it, and so even though I moved a little further away from the dealership, I still come back because of the outstanding service here. There is no question that Lancaster Toyota Service is the best I have ever seen in my lifetime, and I will not go anywhere else. I would recommend them to anybody, as the place to go for service. They are not only the best at service, but they also go the extra mile in communication with the customer. Truly the customer is #1 with Lancaster Toyota Service. Don Nolt, the sales manager was more than fair with our trade pricing and we also received a great interest rate from the finance department. Our ongoing service experience has been nothing less than perfect. When I wait for our car in their service waiting area, I have access to their free Wi-Fi and can use a loaner iPad, how cool is that? I'm a coffee hound and they offer free coffee to all customers (Seattle’s Best BTW!). However, what keeps me coming back is the incredible level of communication that I have with the service department. They always have my best interest in mind, are focused on insuring that I'm kept up to date on what's going on with my car when it's in for service and when I arrive to pick up my car, my service advisor reviews what's been done and I get a coupon for a free car wash to boot! What more could they do? Perhaps they might want to stop over at my home to cut my lawn? :-) These guys are great. If you're the type that appreciates Toyota factory trained technicians working on your Toyota, be treated professionally and with respect, and want to know that what's being recommended is truly needed, then Lancaster Toyota is the right place to take your car. lost customer for life. I had a campaign on my 08 Tacoma for the frame to be sprayed with undercoating. According to the paperwork this should be a 2 day process. I dropped off on Monday afternoon so it could be ready for them Tuesday morning, they call me Tuesday afternoon (not even 24 hours later) and tell me it's finished. I went to pick it up before I went into the service dept I inspected their work. I looked underneath and it looks like they just sprayed this thing and parked it outside with freezing temps and undercoating dripping off the frame. Its soaked! I went into the service dept and told them I'm not picking the truck up today its too wet and has not had time to set up. The service Mgr tells me that this is normal and it's ok to drive, he also tells me that if I want another day with the car rental I'll be charged for it. (I don't understand that statement because I didn't have the car for 2 days Note: in the car rental business 1 day = 24 hrs) without argument I drove my truck home. Half way home I stopped off at the store got out and no suprise undercoat splahed up on the side of my truck and on the rims. Long story short I cleaned it all off. I went to another toyota dealer to ask what their procedure was for this campaign ( by the way I didn't let them know my current experience) I made it sound like I was inquiring about this service. They tell me its 2 day process I'll get a rental car for 2 days. I asked what is the drying process? They told me they park the trucks inside and let them drip on the floor for a day. This particular dealership schedules these on a Tuesday & you don't get it back till Thursday. To me as a customer this sounds like this is the way it should be done. This dealer is giving the customer what Toyota is allowing for the rental. I called Toyota customer care and told them my experience with this dealership on how they wouldn't give the the rental car for the full 2 days. They really didn't seem to care. Nothing became of it. In the end of this whole experience I have decided that this service Dept is not for me. I will visit another dealership that has what I consider the better customer service. More
