I had been shopping for a new/used car for several months and had many unpleasant experiences with car salesmen. I came to dread the entire process but I was in need of a vehicle. I was referred to John Boxs and had many unpleasant experiences with car salesmen. I came to dread the entire process but I was in need of a vehicle. I was referred to John Boxshus and Lamoureux Ford by a friend who promised a very different and even enjoyable experience. She was right. John loves his work and begins the process by educating on the subject of car shopping including due diligence. He is a skilled teacher who was in no hurry to make the sale but rather insisted that I take my time until I was ready to buy. Over a few Saturday visits (this dealership is closed on Sunday for family day), he introduced me to many different vehicle types based on my feedback. After each test run he had something else for me to drive and discuss in an effort to ensure I had all my facts prior to decision. Once I settled on the car I wanted, he suggested I take it for the day and go about my chores, etc., as if it were already mine. He said to look at it in my driveway and determine if it "felt right". I did and I was sold on not only the car but on John and his colleagues at Lamoureaux. They were all so friendly and accomodating whenever I walked into the dealership. In fact, on the day I picked up the car several shook my hand and congratulated me on my purchase. I was given appreciation gifts which included among other things home made chocolate chips cookies! I've waited a few months purposely to review Lamoureux because I wanted to be sure that the friendly personal treatment didn't end at the sale. Well it didn't. Friendly smiles, great service and attention to detail permiate this dealership. I recommend them to everyone I hear of who is car shopping. I know I will never shop cars elsewhere! More

I talked to John about a new truck when i was in getting an oil change. He asked me a few basic questions about what i liked about the truck i had and any other options i thought i would need in a new truck an oil change. When i was ready to buy i called and went in, John had a vehicle ready for me to test drive that fit what he thought i was interested in. John went over the options in this new truck until i almost new them by heart. We reviewed options and colors that where available in what i wanted, turns out i buy the vehicle he had ready for me to drive. John listens and can read people to give you exactly what your looking for. The vehicle transfer was also made extremely easy, John had all the paperwork prepared, introduced me to the Lamoureux family, owner, finance, receptionist and service personel all where very plesent to talk to. I cant say enough about my experiance there and look forward to bring my new truck there for scheduled service. Bob More

What a great experiance, Bill, the salesman was very friendly and knowledgable, Pete, the finance manager was equaly very professional. They both made the experiance very pleasant.
