Normally, almost immediately, I realize I am not there to buy a car. I am in a situation where I am going to have a car sold to me. Although I found the car I wanted, I realized I still had to do the rest at the car dealer who had the car. I decided to take a deep breath and dive in. I called the internet sales department. From this point on my experience was not what I expected. I talked to a man who was very personable and professional but not at all pushy. He was much more interested in finding out what I had to say and what my wants were than the usual script down loading. He asked me to pick a day and time to meet. When I arrived to look at the car the associate was ready, the car was ready, and I was the most important person in the world. He took time to answer my questions and let the car, and my interest in the car, make the sale. He asked if I wanted to take test drive. I figured I would be taking the usual 10 minute ride with a salesman talking and distracting me the whole time. Nope. He got a copy of my license, handed me the keys, and told me to go get to know the car for the next half hour or so. So I did. When I got back I wanted to take my time and really look it over, under, around, and through. All he said was take as much time as you need. When I was done he was easy to find and, once again, I became the most important person in the world. We talked. We discussed. We asked questions. Not once was I pressured to make a decision. Not once was I required to close the deal. After I told him I wanted the car he asked me a few questions. He put a proposal together. He was very clear and methodical in his explanation of the numbers. There were no fast numbers, no quick talk. The whole process was a positive experience. I never felt pressured and all of my negotiations and concerns were addressed to a mutually agreeable conclusion. When I returned a couple days later to close the deal the paperwork was flawless, the car was ready, and through the entire time I spent there I never felt like anything I saw, or heard, or experienced was less than genuine. It is a friendly small town dealership with a warm down home environment that is full of honesty, professionalism, experience, and knowhow that is plugged in to the big leagues. I would recommend this dealership to any friend, family member, or business associate. I have dealt with dealerships all over the lower 48. I can honestly say this company is a one of a kind experience, high in the top 2% of car sales organizations I have encountered. I really enjoyed sharing this. Thanks for taking time to read it. They all told me that I could trust him and that he was an honest car salesman. I immediately felt comfortable with him. He did not try to pressure me into buying something I couldn't afford or didn't want. He just showed me what I asked for and told me whatever the decision it was mine to make. Matt and Bob Pillsbury were courteous, considerate, and respectful throughout the process and appear to genuinely care about treating their customers right. They even went as far as helping me acquire an additional rebate from Ford Motor Company that I wasn't aware of. The financing paperwork and extended warranty, handled by Marc "Koko" Kokansky, were thoroughly explained and completed quickly. The whole buying experience was completely pressure and hassle free. At the time of delivery, Matt made sure that the vehicle was fully detailed, the accessories were installed, the tech systems were set up and running, and spent the time to familiarize me with its numerous features. I highly recommend Lamoureux Ford, and especially Matt Pillsbury, if you are looking to purchase a Ford. I left Lamoureux Ford feeling like I had been treated fairly.
