I have owned three Volkswagens over the years and used many different dealerships/service shops in the process. The past 3 years or so I have been using Lakeland VW and not been disappointed. I never have issues scheduling an appointment and the staff has always been courteous. The last time I had my Jetta in for service Jonathan was very helpful and explained the repairs necessary in detail so I understood what needed to be done. I didn't feel like I was being pressured into service that I didn't need or being talked to over my head making me feel like an iddiot. This type of customer service is exactly what I look for; especially if my wife is the one taking the vehicle in for service (this is very important). I am happy to recommend Lakeland VW to my friends and family and I'm sure they will help me keep my TDI running smooth for another 150,000 miles. More
These are the people who give car salesmen a bad name and have mastered the old yet disgusting practice of bait and switch. I just returned from wasting 3 hours of my life thinking we had made a deal after looking at different cars, test driving the one I liked, negotiating, agreeing on a final price and signing the buyer's order with the salesman AND the manager only for the manager to come back later trying to raise the price by $2000 alleging they had made a mistake and were working off the wrong stock number. Their timing was perfect as I had expressed my commitment to buy and had just finished filling out the. Credit app. They thought they had me with their sheepish attitude claiming the error; little did they know I got up and left. I wonder if I should denounce these deceptive practices to the State's Attorney's office. More
I was recently in the market to purchase my second Jetta. I love the Volkswagen brand, but I’m not a fan of the new body style, so I decided to go with a CPO vehicle. I searched all around the Southeast and I love the Volkswagen brand, but I’m not a fan of the new body style, so I decided to go with a CPO vehicle. I searched all around the Southeast and found the exact one I wanted at Lakeland VW. A few days later, I drove from my home in Atlanta down to Florida to purchase my new car. Hours after my purchase, I contacted the dealership with issues that I noticed with my air conditioning while driving home. In response to problems with my air, the finance manager offered not to fix a car that was obviously not functioning correctly on their lot, but to sell me an additional warranty on top of the one that came with the car. A few days later, I contacted the general manager, Jared, who refused to reimburse me for the $50 deductible that I would have to pay to have my air fixed under the car’s existing warranty. He insisted that he could not even write me a check, but that the only way he could get around the deductible was for me to drive eight hours from Atlanta back down to Lakeland. When I commented to the general manager that I would spend more than $50 in gas driving down there, Jared was still unconcerned and steadfast in his decision. I contacted Volkswagen Corporate with the bad business practices of Lakeland VW and they stepped up to do what was right by paying to have my air fixed. To rectify the issue with my air, the compressor had to be replaced and now my air works fine. I have no idea why the general manager was so rude and was such a jerk about fixing something that was clearly not right when he sold me the car, but I will definitely not even consider Lakeland VW for my third Volkswagen purchase. More
I visited Lakeland Volkswagen on July 27, 2013. I was interested in the 2013 New Beetle Coupe. I had never driven one before. I went inside the dealership and met Rick Jones. Then we looked over the vehicle that I liked and went for a test drive. The car drove great and I was definitely interested in purchasing it. Rick definitely made the car buying experience pleasant. He even made sure my cell phone was working with Bluetooth so I didn't have to go home and figure it out for myself. He introduced me to Josh Jamison before I left that day, and I scheduled an appointment for the Beetle's 30 day check up. Josh was also very helpful. More
We spent a week vacillating between new cars, used cars, certified cars or fixing my damaged car. We ended up at Lakeland Volkswagen with Jose who had shown us three "perfect fit" vehicles within an cars, certified cars or fixing my damaged car. Once we made a decision, Jose managed to move the deal right through with the exact terms we wanted and needed and the finance manager had an ease of handling that was just extraordinary. Jose was more than willing to help us learn the bells and whistles from synchronizing our Iphone to operating the convertible top. We look forward to working with their service department and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them in the future. More
Jose Colon was fantastic. He listened to what I was looking for and did his utmost in finding my preferred vehicle: a 2013.5 GLI Autobahn w/ Nav in Platinum Gray. Even though other choices were offered which were also very nice, Jose persisted and found my car. When I scheduled the test drive on a Saturday, Jose already had the car prepped and ready when I arrived first thing in the morning. Furthermore, when I arrived at the dealership with my CFO (a.k.a. my wife), Jose greeted us with a smile and pointed us to the car. He apologized that he was working with two customers during our visit, but was floating back and forth between each party keeping us all engaged with his assistant while we waited to drive the car. The deal was made and within two hours we were driving the GLI home. Unfortunately, I had a scheduled engagement and had to come back for Jose to explain the details and "fun stuff" on the car. But when I did that following Monday afternoon, he took as much time with me as needed explaining the great technical features of the car. Great customer service! All of the team members my wife and had I were involved with were fantastic. Lakeland Volkswagen has gained a returning customer for my future vehicle needs. Kudos! More

Their was one individual that really stood out ! His name was Jose Colon. He was very thorough, courteous, helpful, and kind! He really tried hard to put a deal together for me! After a couple months the price finally dropped and we were able to make the deal. Jose and I talked on the phone and made arrangements for me to get my VW Beetle. Just the one I wanted! The car was detailed and ready for me when all the paper work was finished. He even had an associate of his, take a picture of us next to my new beetle! I thought that was awesome! After looking online for many months, my husband and I were just beginning to search, seriously, for a pre-owned SUV. We stopped at Lakeland Volkswagen first as I already own a VW Cabrio and love it. Jose were just beginning to search, seriously, for a pre-owned SUV. We stopped at Lakeland Volkswagen first as I already own a VW Cabrio and love it. Jose Colon came to greet us and was so friendly and sincere we couldn't help but like him right away. Jose showed us a 2009 Tiguan SL. My husband liked it but was hesitant to go any further. Then Jose suggested that he, at least, drive it. My husband drove it, thinking we'll just put this one on the list, and then, at Jose's suggestion, he took it out on the main road where he could really get a feel for it's power and the handling of the vehicle. That did it! This was on a Sat afternoon. Monday evening we bought the vehicle when my husband got off work. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Jose gave us his cell number in case we ever have any questions or issues. We could not have asked for better service from the beginning with Jose to the end with Jerry, who closed the deal. Thanks to everyone involved. More
