This is an addendum to my previous review. Just when I thought things could not get worse, I had a flat tire today (no fault of the dealership). If this dealership rescinds the awful deal and allows me to purchase my car back for $4100 and return to the original price, I will write a glowing review. Meanwhile, I am telling all my friends and clients to stay away from any dealings with this dealership!!!! Donita More
Worst sales experience of my life! !!! I saw a 2022 Prius that I had some interest in and called from Palm Bay, nearly 2 hours away. I spoke to Jake Vore, Sales Manager. We had small !!! I saw a 2022 Prius that I had some interest in and called from Palm Bay, nearly 2 hours away. I spoke to Jake Vore, Sales Manager. We had small talk with many areas in common with both of us being from the Midwest. I asked what I would be allowed in a trade-in for my 2011 Prius. I explained the high mileage of over 163,000 miles, but that I had put in new leather seats, all new tires, and new backup camera 2 years ago. Also, the body was in excellent condition and ran perfectly. He indicated that he couldn't give exact figure without seeing it, but since I was from the Midwest, he stated that he knew I would be trustworthy in all the information I provided. He stated he could probably give me $7000. That is the ONLY reason I traveled nearly 2 hours each way from Palm Bay. Until that point, Jake and I conversation on politics, religion, and even knew some of the same people from the Midwest. He had told me we had a special bond, and he gave me his personal cell number. After I arrived from across the state, Jake informed that he regretted to have to inform me that he would only be able to allow $4100 in a trade. It wasn't the color I really wanted, and also had nearly 36,000 miles (high mileage for 2022). However, after being there 3 1/2 hours with a friend that was getting frustrated, I made the poor decision to purchase the vehicle and signed all the paperwork, finalizing the deal. I knew IMMEDIATELY that I had made a poor decision and wanted to return the car. I had been informed that Florida does not have a 3 day right of recission, but I naively thought if they made a profit, they would want to have high customer satisfaction and take back the car. I was willing to pay all their fees and give them $1000-$1500 to rescind the deal. Jake told me car was really only worth $3100, but said he gave me an addition $1000 for a total of $4100. Within 2 hours of the deal, I saw my car listed on CarGuru for $8,421. I called the following day and stated that I had made a hasty decision that I wanted to return the car, I paid $31,095 total including fees with the downpayment and payoff from 2 weeks of the loan. Jake told me if I wanted to keep the car and just buy back my old one, it would cost just over $7000. If I wanted to return the car, they would pay off the loan, keep the downpayment, and keep my car and return $4500 to me, making a profit of $8,650 plus $4100 for the amount allotted in the trade-in, for a total of $9,060 for merely rescinding the deal. (Profit of $13,181 if they would get asking price of $8421 from CarGuru). I was in such shock with the preposterous figures that Jake had given me, I spoke with Tony Reeves, the General Manager. He returned my call, indicating that he believed Jake had offered a fair deal. I informed him that I intended to write this entire experience with a poor review. I received a call from Jake within less that 1/2 hour, prompting me of things to say and ended the call by saying "no matter what you write, I will still like you". I work in the travel industry, putting together personalized escorted tours. My business has grown from 25 travelers to nearly 700 in 10 years. The main reason is excellence and customer satisfaction. Since I did feel a bond with Jake, and we shared common beliefs and knew some of the same people, I felt even more betrayed and saddened that the profit was MUCH more important than customer satisfaction....even to a customer with a "special bond". I am now stuck with a car that I over paid and I really don't like. I wanted to share this experience, so others don't fall prey to a similar experience. Donita More
BOUGHT VEHICLE ON 10/14/2023 TRADED IN MY VEHICLE AND CASH TOWARDS PURCHASE OF A 2012 RAM 2500 DIESEL SOLD AS IS. CALLED DEALERSHIP MONDAY TO EXPLAIN TRUCK HAD ISSUES AND TRANSMISSION WAS ACTING UP, ASK CASH TOWARDS PURCHASE OF A 2012 RAM 2500 DIESEL SOLD AS IS. CALLED DEALERSHIP MONDAY TO EXPLAIN TRUCK HAD ISSUES AND TRANSMISSION WAS ACTING UP, ASKED IF I MAY BRING VEHICLE BACK AND GET THE VEHICLE I TRADED IN BACK, WAS TOLD IT WOULD COST A ADDITIONAL 2600 ON TOP OF THE 1600 I PAID WHEN I TRADED MY VEHICLE. WENT TO DEALERSHIP TUESDAY THE 17TH AND GOT MY VEHICLE BACK COST ME 2600 DOLLARS FOR A VEHICLE I DROVE 130 MILES AND 2 DAYS, I EXPLAINED I WOULD PAY THE 600 SERVICE BILL AND FELT I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY ANYMORE SINCE THE TRUCK THEY SOLD ME WAS A LEMON. I had a terrible experience. I brought my RAM Pro Master 2500 with electrical issue my screen was not working and headlight keep going off . After they diagnosed the van they found a burned wire that was stuck on the catalytic converter so they changed it that’s cost us 2k and nothing changed. The van was at the shop for 4 months I lost a lot of money leaving it there that’s the only van I had for my small business they couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with it. After speaking with almost 3 mangers they always hire and fire different people I guess nothing was solved last manger told me the van need new transmission and engine that would cost about 14k mind as will get you new vehicle wow great solution I guess. I always have to argue with the mechanic advisor josh at the front desk very unprofessional and argumentative person . After wasting money and time and resources I had to take the van out of the dealer and it was at the worse condition then gave it to them definitely very disappointed, and I will never do business with them. I hope everyone can be aware of this and avoid this mistake. More
