Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

So many positive reviews can't be all wrong, but my experience has not been a pleasant one. Six weeks after purchase, I am still waiting for repairs to my car that were noted at time of purchase (minor experience has not been a pleasant one. I expressed great concern at time of purchase about having the paint repaired correctly and expressed that I wanted to see the work prior to the car being reassembled, but I was told I was being overly concerned and that they would have it back to me looking like new. I relented and agreed to not to require in process inspection. It was to be ready yesterday, but when I went to pick up the car, hours after being told it was ready to go, even the service rep couldn't look me in the eye because the car is now in worse condition than when I left it a week ago with additional damage caused by the repair personnel and incomplete repair of initial problem. It is still at the shop for round 2 of repairs. Did they not inspect the work before they called and told me it was ready? Is there no pride in presenting the customer with quality work? Apparently not. At time of purchase, I felt as though I was annoying the entire showroom and they couldn't wait to get my signature and show me the door. BTW, the sticker price on this purchase was in the mid-50s. When I took delivery of my vehicle, it appeared as though the detail guys had used a greasy pork chop to wash the car and windows, even though they had the entire day to detail the vehicle. I picked it up around 7 pm. I was swayed considerably by the "tires for life" benefit, only to find out during paperwork, that this is actually not true. I would say it is a stretch, but it is an outright lie. They will provide you only 2 sets of tires, and then only if you schedule all your required maintenance with them. Of course with my current experience with their maintenance, this is not something I plan to do going forward. I am sure many people have had a good experience here, or perhaps they just don’t have any experience with genuine, caring customer service and quality business to compare with, but I will not be back to this dealer for purchase or service. Everybody i delt with at the dealership was exceptionaly friendly. They actualy wanted to work with you and make a deal rather than just push you a vehicle. Then was able to negotiate what I thought was a great price for me. There was absolutely no pressure or being pushed to buy. He did an awesome job getting the truck prepared for me to take home late Friday night, scheduling the follow-up to add options, and explaining everything inside the truck. Worked with Brian on the contract and the financing, he was great explaining all the warranty options, finding the best rates from the various lenders, and finding the best rate versus term versus warranty cost, and was able to keep the end cost as low as possible. It was truly one of the best experiences I have had as compared to other vehicles purchased at other locations. I didn't leave his office more confused than going in. He explained everything extremely well. Overall, great experience, great facilities and great people. And most of all, love the truck. More

My dad had purchased his 2009 Dodge Ram at Lake Norman Chrysler. When I told him I was interested in purchasing a Dodge Charger, he had went there and spoke with Russell and Christine. They gave him a price for my trade in and for a new Charger. I had went there to test drive the car and Christine came on the ride with us. She was very friendly and informative about the vehicle. It was Good Friday and the traffic was horrible. We got back to the dealership and I sat down with both Russell and Christine. I was not sure of the color I wanted and I had said I wanted to think about it. They both said that is fine and said to think about it and to give them a call when I was ready. In all my life of buying new cars, a sales person never let me leave without a fight. There was NO pressure at all. I felt very good about that. I did go to two other dealerships to compare prices and neither could match the price of Lake Norman. The next day we came back and purchased the car. While waiting for a Finance person, Christine was getting us water and offering us snacks. I had asked Russell about an extended power train warranty before purchasing the car. He informed Christina, the Finance person about this. When we went into the office, Christina answered all of my questions about the warranty and did not push anything else. She informed me, but was not pushy. Overall the experience was awesome. It was so awesome that two days later my dad went back and traded in his 2009 Ram for a new Chrysler 300. I was very please with Russell, Christine and Christina. Oh, and the best part...the Charger is AWESOME! My family and I love it. We have the coolest car on the block. Thank you! More
