I went in to purchase a new Dodge Ram 1500 in January 2009. I had already found the vehicle I wanted at a different car lot, but had just completed a transaction with Dan Ruch(sales) and Dan McGinnis(sal 2009. I had already found the vehicle I wanted at a different car lot, but had just completed a transaction with Dan Ruch(sales) and Dan McGinnis(sales manager) in December 2008 when my girlfriend puchased a new Wrangler there and was very impressed in how easy they were to work with and as hard as they worked to get a bottom dollar price on the new vehicle, as well as getting a fair and competitive price on the trade. They were not high pressure at all, and are willing to locate a vehicle with every option desired if they do not have one on the lot. I do have to say though, this is a good size dealership with sufficient inventory, but they are still small enough to give the personal attention that really is desired and it does stand out. As being one who really likes to keep my business local, and this being the closest lot to my house, I had no doubt that I was making the right decision to make my purchase at Lake Norman CJD. I would definitely recomend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. The sales manager, salesman, and even the owner go out of their way to do whatever it takes to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. They also offer free car washes for life, which of course is a nice perk, especially if you live close enough to the dealership to make it worthwhile such as myself. If you are in the market for any vehicle, do yourself a favor and pay these guys a visit. I didn't regret it and am sure you will not either. Andrew More
The gm literally called my husband and I "fucking liars" while waving his finger in our faces. He did all of this while I was holding my 10 mo. old. They were also extremely pushy and flatout rude I would n while waving his finger in our faces. He did all of this while I was holding my 10 mo. old. READ THE FINE PRINT. You can ask all the right questions and get all the right answers, but when it comes to the signing process they overwhelm you with paperwork and they sneak in things that they either d and get all the right answers, but when it comes to the signing process they overwhelm you with paperwork and they sneak in things that they either did not tell you about during the verbal negotiations or they change numbers around. Very dishonest, would not recommend to anyone. I bought a used Jeep Commander from them and the thing that bothered me the most about the process was that when asked direct questions, they give you one answer then put something completely different in writing hoping you won't catch it. Then when confronted about this they just point to what you signed, not even arguing the fact that they lied verbally in the first place. More
The sales people are classic ripoff artists. They will sneak things on to the contract without telling you, then when you complain about the fact that they purposedly mislead you they will call you neglig sneak things on to the contract without telling you, then when you complain about the fact that they purposedly mislead you they will call you negligent for failing to read all the fine print. Examples, they changed the trade in amount between the verbal agreement and the written contract, they list one price on the car on the lot and a different price online, they add bogus fees they never tell you about until it's time to sign, they flat out lie about the DataDot program claiming you pay for the registry when it's actually an extended warranty. Avoid this dealer. More
This dealership offers a very anxious and high pressure sales environment and the Sales Managers fail to aleviate that sense of being overcharged and taken advantage of! As a repeat buyer (more than once) sales environment and the Sales Managers fail to aleviate that sense of being overcharged and taken advantage of! As a repeat buyer (more than once) at this location it has become obvious that this dealer and Chrysler Corporation as a whole does not work together! This dealership does not strive to minimize aggravation when settling deals for new, used or leased purchases. Overall my experiences at this facility have been frustrating and costly and as a result they will no longer receive business from me personally or through my business, which requires a fleet of vehicles. As well, I will share my bad experiences with friends and family in order for them to direct their Dodge/Chrylser business elsewhere. More
