In 2007, the staff went out of there way to put us in the Challenger we wanted, exact to the color which was the biggest task, but they didn't stop until they had it on the lot for us. Now, in 2013, as our family siuation has grown and "our kids" are growing, we stopped by and discussed our thoughts with Mr. Brewton, Ms Carrigan and without having to ask, Amanda Schinder stopped by the desk to say hello to us and then she also went to work for us finding the best solutiion for our request and thoughts. As much to our regret, we decided that the Challenger just was not practical for our family any longer and so with the help of those mentioned and I'm sure anyone else who works there would have stepped up as well, came up with a solution of trading the Challenger in (for top dollar) we must add, for a Dodge Journey for Leanne and I and a Jeep Liberty for our daughter Hannah who will be getting her license soon. believe me, I am a man of words and I tell it like it is and whenever I have a bad expereince at a business , I let the correct people know it. But to my delight, I am very happy to write this review becasue it tells others where the good ones are. I also have a business here in Cornelius and I advertise from the word of others and I believe that puts a sense of companionship with every deal. And for "Service after the Sale" well, just ask anyone who has pruchased a vehicle for LKN Chrysler and they will say the same. And though not listed (should be), John, in the service center, for taking care of my last minute request before I left the lot! I called about the vehicle on Friday and drove home with it on Saturday! Not to mention, I live an hour and 45 minutes away in Columbia, SC. Once I came to the dealership and met Sam, I was pleasantly surprised. Every other experience I've had with purchasing a car has been a huge headache. I've felt like I wasn't being told whole truths and that I was being pressured to buy a vehicle I didn't really want simply to remove one the dealership already had on the lot. I've always felt like I had to be on the defensive, and push to get honesty from the salesman I was dealing with. Never did I feel this way with Sam. From the beginning he listened to what I wanted and I never felt pressured to purchase a vehicle I didn't want. He found exactly what I wanted, understood where I wanted my payment to be, and made it happen. It was the quickest, most painless car buying experience I've ever had. He has a comforting way about him, that makes you feel like he's a friend, not a salesman. In addition, each time I visited the dealership and crossed paths with an employee, I was asked if I would like something to drink, if I was being helped, and if I needed anything. I've never seen such excellent customer service by all employees. Even though I wasn't dealing with them, they offered their time to make sure I was taken care of. Like most people, the thing I hate most about car shopping is the overzealous car salesman. The one that follows you around and tries to sell you on every car sitting on the lot except the one you re shopping is the overzealous car salesman. I walked into the dealership, stated I wanted a 2013 Dodge Charger with a HEMI, and 20 minutes later Willie showed me my new baby. The car happened to be showroom floor model with every bell & whistle I could think of and even a few I had not thought of. Willie was very well versed on the vehicle. He walked me through each feature, element, and nuance of the vehicle step-by-step from memory. By the time I picked my car up two-days later, thanks to Willie, I was able to just get in and drive. The radio, clock, and all other essentials were already programmed. About two weeks later, when I went in to pick up my tag, I voiced some concerns about engine sounds and Willie quickly suggested we take a spin. He listened to the vehicle and was able to assure me that everything was in working order; only an experienced and knowledgeable salesman could do that. Willie Brown has made this the best car-buying experience of my life. I will definitely be a repeat customer and have already referred several people to Willie and Lake Norman Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep.
