I just purchased an 07 Pacifica. Love the car. KJ was great to deal with , great smile and very personable. You have a awesome dealership. I am a "car guy", hard core. That being said, it killed my soul when my banker asked me why I was giving over retail for the car. I had no good answer, except I was tired of looking at cars. The "dealer add on" were very excessive. We neg. a what I thought was a very good price on said car. Then KJ emaild me the total and it blew me out of the water. Here is what he sent me -$699 doc fee -$199.50 hand fee -$565.47 Sales Tax -$499 Zurich shield (paint & fabric protector with a 7 year warranty on stains & punctures) Your final price would be $17,212.97. That is a far cry from the 15,250 plus tax and tags that I thought I was going to pay. I admit I didn't ask about the other fees, because never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought they would have been that much. We finally came togather on 16,400 for the Pacifica. Not a good deal for me, but hell, in a hundred years, who will ever know. We went to purchase a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and ended up buying a new 2010 Jeep Wrangler Island Edition. VERY satisfied with the Jeep and the overall experience. Chip the new sales rep and Mark the sales manager were very nice and accommodating in explaining all and any questions related to the Jeep product line. Mark made us aware about the last day opportunity for a $750 rebate. As a skeptical buyer I had my doubts, but upon further review it was true to form. He stayed late and had all paperwork expedited for us, making the buying process a breeze and stress free. The Jeep was detailed and ready to go that night! Chip was very honest and upfront about what he knew and what he was unsure of being he was a new salesman. He did not try to fluff anything and when he was unsure of an answer he made certain he obtained the correct information for us. A great guy and I would certainly recommend you ask for him specifically. Josh in service was also very helpful in assisting us in customizing our Jeep. making sure we did not void any warentee that came with the purchase. In my opinion he went above beyond what a standard service adviser would do and is walking us through the best options for the desired look we are going for. All in all we are very satisfied with our purchase and with the service received at Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge. While looking at online dealer invoices after reaching home I felt very pleased with the purchase price of the vehicle. As in any business there has to be a profit made, and I believe Mark gave me the best price he was able to with Chip and him giving us exceptional service and attention. More
I bought a car here right after Jack took over the dealership, when they had this big sale going on and offered all kinds of incentives to buy new. My wife gets a new car every 2 to 3 years, and was due a new vehicle. After purchasing, and a couple of service visits, I mentioned to the service adviser that I wanted to meet the GM and thank him for such a great vehicle and wonderful service. This was maybe 6 month's after Jack and Robin purchased the dealership. So I met Jack and recognized right away a kindred spirit. Jack not only made sure that every time I brought in my car we were treated as royalty, but he took me around and introduced me to all his "key players" to make sure I knew them personally so that if I had any issues, I'd know who to come to for resolution. Since then, I've purchased 4 other vehicles from Jack. Well, a couple of years ago it came time for me to buy myself a car (all others were for the wife). I'd had a company car for 24+ years and was moving to a new level of management that didn't allow for a company vehicle, so needed one for myself. This vehicle I wanted to be a convertible first, but then it had to have room, be comfortable on the road as I drive everywhere, economical yet fun, and able to last. I called Jack from Chicago where I was looking at purchasing a used BMW Convertible while on a business trip, and asked if he had anything on the lot in convertible that I could look at. He said, "of course I do, come on down, I'll beat the price on that BMW and you'll be glad I did". Well, he hadn't mentioned a PT Cruiser, or I may have just gone and bought that BMW. I had previously driven base model PT's in Dallas as rental cars when visiting my corporate office, and never thought much of them. Spacious, yes, very comfortable seating stance (I'm a great big guy!), very much yes, but no options and lacking power. Jack pointed at this cute silver PT Convertible and told one of his sales people to put me in it. I grumbled about it right up until I sat in it. The seats, nice leather and well done. The interior was very nice, decent enough stereo, but what caught my eye was it was a 5-speed manual transmission, tied to a 2.4 ltr turbocharged engine. The test drive blew me away, I told the sales person to call he dealership and have them start the paperwork before we'd even gotten back. Since then I've put more than 1000 hours of work into the car, have raced it on both the drag strip and road course at Palm Beach International Raceway, ran the Tail of the Dragon with it, and have driven it from Miami to New York City, Chicago to Atlanta. I love my PT, and have thoroughly enjoyed the experiences I've had at Lake Norman CJD. Since then I've purchased my wife an Apsen hemi, and will be returning soon for another vehicle for her. You know you enjoy your visits when you just stop by to share a cup of coffee with the team there. Add to it Jack's provided give-aways to our PT Cruiser Car Club for events and meets, which in every case were a big hit. I completely decorated my car with Lake Norman CJD items at last year's Fall Auto Fair at the Lowe's Motor Speedway, where three cases of give-away items lasted only 21 minutes before they were all gone! Anyway, I suggest to EVERYONE to buy their next car here. Great team, great people, great times and now part of my extended family!!! More

I was on vacation visiting my brother for a few days when I experienced the vehicle trouble, therefore being without it was going to be very inconvenient. I was given a quote for repair of the problem in my transmission and a detailed explaination of what the repair involved by Mr. Williams. My vehicle was repaired the same day and i was provided with a rental vehicle at a very discounted price from Enterprise to use for the day, which allowed me to continue with my activities. My vehicle was finished when expected and washed. The lady who handled my bill at the checkout was very pleasant as was Mr. Williams. This made handing over $900.00 less painful. I would recommend this dealership to others. And, although I do not live in the area my brother does, as well as my sister-in-law, both of whom work in companies dealing with many people who they can tell of the excellent service at Lake Norman. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Lake Norman Dodge. I was happy with the service I received. We started shopping later in the day and I never got the feeling he wanted me to hurry up. This was particularly important as I was indecisive about the exact features I wanted/needed. The following comments are given in an effort to provide information that may be helpful to both the dealership and future buyers. While I am not dissatisfied with the price of the vehicle (I felt the price was fair), I was caught off guard with the "Dealer added extras" we were told about AFTER we had discussed and settled on a price for the vehicle. Perhaps we should have known about these, but they were not listed on the sticker, and as this was my first Jeep I was unaware I needed to ask about them. I feel these fees should have been discussed in detail as we were discussing the price of the vehicle rather than after we were in the process of signing papers. To be fair, they are nice features that add value to the vehicle, I just believe the price/benefit should have been disclosed sooner than it was. With that said, I felt our concerns were listened to and steps were taken to come to a fair and equitable agreement. They could have very easily simply said sorry and left it at that, but I felt they really tried to make it right for us. Lake Norman Dodge has a great inventory and Mark was even very willing to find a different vehicle from another location if I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I liked that he didn't put any pressure on me, but instead tried to decide what I needed and wanted. The finance department was fantastic as well. I would buy another car from them, but would be a bit wiser in asking more details on specific features, as we learned many of their vehicles have these extra features and they are not listed anywhere that seemed obvious to us. He handed me his business card which had "free lifetime car washes" on it. Tony in financing whipped into action when I told him I was in a hurry. I can not say enough about the attention to detail that was given to me from the full gas tank to the follow up phone calls regarding concerns I had while shopping for my new car. Even the price negotiations were pleasant and confrontation free. From the test drive to signing on the dotted line, I felt respected and listened to. More
