I first met Drew when he brought his four legged kiddo into the veterinary hospital I work at, which is conveniently located right around the corner from the dealership. As a new resident of Charlotte, I had not yet found a trusted place to take my Jeep Liberty for service. When I found out that Drew worked at Lake Norman Jeep, I was a bit hesitant at first to take my vehicle in for service, as I had been taken advantage of in previous experiences at dealers and mechanics. He reassured me that I would be taken care of and as it turns out, I was not only well taken care of, but also pleasantly surprised at how positive my experiences have been to date. I have now had my Jeep in to see Drew for scheduled maintenance and oil changes several times and I have not been disappointed. Today I took my Jeep to a different mechanic for an oil change close to my home and was told upon checkout that I would need to have $825 service performed on my vehicle...and sooner than later. I immediately got in touch with Drew, who told me to get the Jeep in to see him. I drove straight there, where upon inspecting the Jeep, he showed me the flaws in the work that had been done by the other mechanic (a routine oil change) and actually took the time to explain the work that my Jeep needed. I showed him the quote I was given for the work needed, he was concerned. After some research and calls about parts/labor, Drew was able to get me a much better quote - I was thrilled and felt at ease once again. Needless to say, I scheduled the service for next week. Drew is professional, honest, and works very hard for his customers. I'll never take my Jeep to anyone else, I've finally found someone I can trust! More

I would absolutely recommend Lake Norman CJDR for anybody who is looking for a new car, and send them to Brian Cramer. I actually had no intention of going to this dealership, as there were two that were cl who is looking for a new car, and send them to Brian Cramer. I actually had no intention of going to this dealership, as there were two that were closer to home. Had I given them a call earlier however, I could have saved myself considerable time and frustration. I hate buying cars and the games/process that goes with it. I had actually negotiated very good prices on the Jeep that I was looking at prior to speaking to Brian, and ended up walking away due to undesirable tactics and questions about trustworthiness that had developed later on in the process at these two places. The big differences between LN and the others to me were: 1. The level of product knowledge and the abiltiy to confidently and accurately answer questions 2. The availability of solutions as opposed to sales pitches or spin. If I had needs or issues with what was available, or how things were presented, Brian always had a potential solution with an explanation as opposed to a pitch or diversion. These solutions sometimes changed the dynamic of the proposal (price), but there was acknowledgemt of that fact, and a willingness to try to find middle ground or an acceptable compromise. 3. No undue pressure- There was no sketchy last minute closer thrown into the mix, there was no play to try to get me into the dealership and try to sell me something that I didn't want. Brian worked to find something that would meet my needs within what I was looking to spend, and I only came in to look at perspective vehicles that I had an interest in. Management was also very professional, and didn't create undue last minute pressure either. Bottom line is that this is the most professional operation that I went to in this process this time around. The building is clean, it's comfortable, and the folks that work there are friendly and respectful of your postion. For better or worse, the worst part of the car buying experience for me is potentially walking away feeling like you've been taken advantage of or pressured into buying something that you weren't prepared to buy. They either get that, or they just choose not to do business that way as a matter of course. Either way, I would recommend giving them a call. More

I dropped in on a Thursday afternoon to put the "bug" in the ear of Maggie that I needed to locate a good, safe, reliable used 4x4 SUV or Truck for my nephew -- who is working in California for the "bug" in the ear of Maggie that I needed to locate a good, safe, reliable used 4x4 SUV or Truck for my nephew -- who is working in California for the winter. His truck died right before we had to send him out - so we needed a replacement to ship to him. Price was a factor, but safety & reliability were key. Friday she called with a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She drove to a sister location to bring it back to Cornelius for me ... a couple hours later I was pleased to tell him the deal was done - and he is thrilled! They cleaned it up really nice for us and it will soon be on its way across country to him. I bought my own Cherokee from Maggie earlier this year - and LOVE it! I knew exactly the car that I wanted, down to the model, color and options and made my initial contact via the internet/email with several dealers. My plan was to visit the dealers Friday and Saturday and make my decision on Sunday. I made it very clear what I expected from the dealership. After I visited several dealers, it became an easy decision where I was going to make the purchase.
