My wife and I were in the market for a new car. I checked several local dealers online and then decided to go to Lake Norman Chrysler and give Jay Tarlowe an opportunity to assist us with finding a new car. several local dealers online and then decided to go to Lake Norman Chrysler and give Jay Tarlowe an opportunity to assist us with finding a new car. Jay assisted me with purchasing a Challenger a few years ago. When we walked into the showroom, Jay recognized me right away and called me by name. Amazing given that I’ve only seen him a couple of times since I purchased my Challenger in 2009. We mentioned we were in the market for a new car but didn’t want to spend a lot. He wanted to show us a car just out of our price range (of course, right?) but it was a 2012 left over and knowing that I’m a car guy, Jay thought my wife and I would love this car. It was a Chrysler 300C Luxury Series with a Hemi. Once Jay showed and explained all of the features of this car, I could see right away that my wife was hooked on this car. It was going to be a matter of trade-in value and final price. We went on a test drive and you could tell that Jay loves his job. He was excited to show off all the features and options on this car. Once we returned to the showroom, we talked figures and Jay is easy to deal with. No sales pitches, no BS and no pressure. When I wanted to compare a car at another dealership, he had no problems pulling it up on the Internet and we compared options between the cars. Jay was very responsive to the various questions and requests. I asked about financing and warranty options and he had Amanda Schrider talk with us on those topics. Amanda was very informative and extremely nice. She made the documentation process easy and like Jay, answered all of our questions. Strange at a car dealership, she protects their interests but we felt like she was looking out for our interests as well – we asked several questions and felt a comfort level with her answers and demeanor. Before we left, we went through some more features and options on the car with Jay. He’s easy to deal with, down to earth, and my wife and I both felt he truly wanted to find the right car for us – not just sell us a car. The car he recommended is awesome. My wife, who doesn’t get excited about cars, loves this car. I now have two vehicles I have purchased from Jay and if I need another one, I’ll check in with him again. This is one of those dealerships that still believes that customer satisfaction is more important than selling cars. They will go the extra mile for you from the time you purchase your vehicle, till the day customer satisfaction is more important than selling cars. They will go the extra mile for you from the time you purchase your vehicle, till the day you bring it back for service. I have brought my 2013 RAM in for some warranty work, and due to my work schedule and having to pick up the kids, it is impossible to stay there and wait for the work to be finished. Each time, they were courteous enough to to provide me with a loaner of my choice ( yes, I did say of my choice, which on this last trip was a LOADED 2013 Dart) fast in and out service so I can get back and pick up the kids, and always a warm smile and utmost polite attitude. Andrew is always a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend him for a service adviser. He goes out of his way to keep me and my husband happy with the work performed on the vehicle, always has the car washed and looking spotless for when I pick it up. I cannot say enough about them, and could go on with the sale department as well, but honestly, what sells me on a dealer is the Service department. They are the ones you deal with for the life of your car. Just to let you know how much I like this place, keep in mind I drive from Clover SC to come see them, and I have other Dodge dealers within 15 min of my house. More
We went to Lake Norman Chrysler to just LOOK at a Dodge Durango that my husband saw on the website. Before the day was over we were driving home in a new SUV!! When we entered the dealership we met with Warren who found the car that my husband had been looking at. After the test drive he introduced us to Tony Williams who handled the sales process. Tony made this experience very enjoyable, relaxed and free from the "games" you get at other dealerships. He listened to my husband and his concerns as to what he could really afford. Both Tony and Warren went above and beyond the call of duty to make us comfortable. When my husband wanted to compare the car we drove to the "sister" car that was on the holding lot 5 miles away....Warren went and got it for us. We ended up buying the sister car. Brian K. with the finance department was amazing as well looking for the best rates and making suggestions that were in our favor. We highly recommend this dealership!!!
