I was told that the power steering was leaking fluid and needed to be replaced at a cost over $2000. I didn’t do it and instead checked online and found that adding fluid could put off this repair for as l needed to be replaced at a cost over $2000. I didn’t do it and instead checked online and found that adding fluid could put off this repair for as long as 4 years. The service tech said their policy prohibited them from just adding fluid. This prevented passing my state inspection. Just had the oil and filter changed for $79+ and left. Did I do the right thing? You judge. More
